On her 40th birthday, DJ Zinhle was surprised by her husband, Murdah Bongz. The former member of Black Motion made Zinhle unbox several boxes until she found the red box containing an engagement ring. The mother of two was shocked and excited by the gift from Bongz, and appreciated his thoughtfulness. Murdah shared a video of the surprise on Instagram and captioned it, “Here’s to more surprises and more promises to keep with you in 2023. Happy new year everyone and happy new year my love.”

DJ Zinhle and Mohosana reportedly began dating in June of 2020 and kept their relationship private, rarely sharing details on their social media accounts. However, in December of that same year, the couple publicly confirmed their romance when Mohosana, the other half of the famous group Black Motion, shared a post on social media declaring his love for Zinhle with a prayer written in Zulu. On September 9, 2021, the couple welcomed a baby girl at a private hospital in Johannesburg and now they are reportedly taking their relationship to the next level.
