Rest in peace to the Please Step In host Angie Diale

The bad news doesn’t seem to stop when it comes to the entertainment industry. As we continue to lose our valuable people in the entertainment industry that have been changing lives for a living. It’s a dark time for many families in Mzansi, as they cannot celebrate their festive season due to the loss of their loved ones. This time around, the popular television presenter Angie Diale has sadly passed away at the age of 55. She was famously known as Mam’ Angie through her philanthropist work. She made it her goal to change people’s lives for the better.


 

 

 

Mam’ Angie presented in shows such as SABC1’s Relate and Mzansi Magic’s Please Step In. She mainly dealt with people that needed help in trying to overcome something personal that has been affecting their lives. In a way that they find it difficult to see the best things in life. Mam’ Angie died in Leratong Hospital on Thursday following a short sickness. In a statement that was released by Mam’ Angie’s family, they’ve stated that she was suffering from pneumonia and that ended up ending her life. “She was suffering from shortness of breath and subsequently treated at Tshepo Themba Hospital yesterday. She was later transferred to Leratong, where she sadly passed in the early hours of the morning,” read the statement released by the media personality’s family.

The family also stated that they’re still coming to terms with Angie’s sudden death and they’re pleading with Mzansi to give them some privacy during these tough times. They stated that they will update people with regards to Angie’s memorial service and funeral. Angie was also an HIV/Aids activist after he was diagnosed with HIV more than 20 years ago. “We kindly request to be afforded some privacy and time to deal with this sudden loss. Details of the memorial service and funeral will be confirmed at a later stage,” read the statement.
