Netizens woke up on Thursday with sad news that one of the famous Kwaito Artists, Mshoza, the real name of Nomasonto Maswanganyi, had died.
NewzSA heard from unconfirmed sources that the Queen of Kwaito died today in a hospital in Johannesburg after a brief illness.
Mshoza was one of the remaining legends of Kwaito in South Africa.
She died at the age of 37, following two decades of musical career, when she was just 10 years old.
Reports also suggested that it may have impacted Mshoza’s wellbeing by heading under the knife a few times, contributing to her untimely demise.
Mshoza had undergone surgery to lighten the face, operate on the nose, lip and jaw.
She did both of these things, dismissing the skepticism that came with it.
Mshoza leaves behind two daughters, the daughter of Pride Mnisi (10) and the son of Junior Mnisi (8).
May her soul rest in peace, she will always beloved and remembered in South Africa.
