Remembering the legendary Peta Teanet, See how his music inspired South African’s.

The late Peta Teanet was a legendary South African disco musician of Shangaan descent.He was living at Thapane rural village , in Bolobedu south at Ga-Modjadji. He was killed by a policeman in Bushbuckridge Acornhoek during an argument.He studied high school at Kgwekgwe High School in Moleketla Village, Bolobedu South.

Teanet worked with his friend Papa Penny,Joe Shirimane and his younger brother Foster Teanet.He had eight wives and 13 children, his wives always accompanied him on tours also singing as backing vocalists.

His album were Discography which he released in 1988,in 1989 he released Maxaka,followed by Divorce case in 1990,and More hit from Peta Teanet in 1991.His music inspired many people and upcoming artists.

He will always be remembered and adored as one of Mzansi’s most talented record producer,songwriter and singer. He touched a d healed many hearts through his music.
