In 2018, she took a leap of faith by auditioning for Mzansi Magic’s telenovela, “Isithembiso.” Her outstanding performance caught the eye of casting directors, leading to an invitation to audition for another Mzansi Magic production, “Isibaya.”

In “Isibaya,” Asavela portrayed the character Ntwenhle, the daughter of Mandla Ndlovo. Her role showcased her acting prowess and garnered her a growing fan base. Additionally, she made her mark as Amogelang, a newcomer, in the popular TV series “Abomama.”
