Recent pictures of Babes Wodumo Got People Talking

Bongekile Simelane, better known as Babes Wodumo is a South African gqom artist and choreographer. She rose to fame following the release of her breakthrough song “Wololo”, in 2016. The song later appeared on her debut studio album, Gqom Queen, released in late 2016.

Lamontville is a town in EThekwini in the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa. Township south of Durban, on the Umlaas River and next to Mobeni. It was laid out in 1930 and named after the Revd Archibald Lamont, then Mayor of Durban and that was where the legend Babes Wodumo born.

Babes Wodumo’s has sparked a conversation on Twitter, following her recent pictures making rounds on social media. While Babes Wodumo was out on an interview with Dudu ‘Lady D’ Khoza of Jabul’ Ujule on Ukhozi FM. In these pictures, tweeps are more concerned over the weight shed that Babes Wodumo is showing.

Taking to Twitter, Musa Khawula has posted pictures of Babes Wodumo photographed with Dudu ‘Lady D’ Khoza and tweeps are talking about the obvious weight showing on Babes Wodumo’s body.

The artist further said she doesn’t know whether the women who are making fun of her want her to hate her son and that she doesn’t understand what is so different about her. People can hate me for being Babes Wodumo but they can’t change my life. I come from a background where I have to fight for everything so there’s no one in this planet earth can change my life style.
