Fans of One Magic Telenovela The River are in the shock of their lives as the show is experiencing a mass exodus of actors.

At the beginning of the weekend d it was announced that leading actor of the soapie, Hlomla Dandala who plays the role of Zweli was exiting the show.

News if Hlomla’ exit was followed by other two actors announcing their exit from the show as well.

Actor Lawrence Maleka and Tango Ncetezo who play the characters of Zolani and Paulina respectively have also parted ways with the drama series.

Lawrence and Tango will not be part of the show from the beginning of Season 6.

Hlomla announced his exit via an Instagram post captioned; “It’s always bitter sweet when an actor’s run on a long-running show comes to an end.”

“Wishing my fellow cast members all the best! colleagues, and wish you a prosperous and successful run; you will be missed.”
