Rasta The Artist showed off his painting of Minnie Dlamini in style

Rastafarian The artist gave Minnie Dlamini a portrait while she was present at her live roast at the Sandton Convention Center, source The South African.

Rasta is well known for painting the faces of celebrities and prominent individuals who have passed on, Rasta The Artist had everyone surprised when he gifted media personality Minnie Dlamini with a portrait of herself.


 

 

Minnie took to her Instagram to appreciate Rasta’s portrait of her: “You know you’ve made it when @officialrastatheartist paints you AND you’re still alive 🤣 Getting my flowers while I still live and breathe ❤️”The Showmax Roast of Minnie Dlamini took place on Friday at the highly anticipated Laugh Africa Comedy Festival. According to IOL, the event was hours behind schedule and only started after 22:00.
At what seems to have been the end of the roast as seen in the clip on social media, the popular painter can be seen on stage presenting his art to the star of the night and had everyone’s jaws on the floor. Rasta The Artist not only had social media users flabbergasted but Dlamini and some of her panel as well.

Nonetheless, the event seemed to have gone well as Dlamini has since gushed over her family, friends, and her team for all the support shown at the show. The 33-year-old media personality took to Instagram to appreciate them in a post.
“To my friends and family that showed up for me words fail me, thank you for being in my corner. I love you all soooo much. To my glam team thank you for always making me look and feel beautiful. Lastly to my backstage squad thanks for turning my dressing room into such a party and giving me the blessings and courage to go out there and feel safe and secure in who I am and how loved I am by each of you,” she wrote.
