Rasta the artist has done it again

With the sad passing of Ampiano superstars Killer Kau and Mpura, many South Africans still cannot believe that the musicians have really passed on. It still feels like a dream to some.

Like any other time, Rasta the Artist had to put his brushes at work. He recently revealed a painting that he is working on of the late “Ama Neighbour” hitmaker, Killer Kau.

Rasta posted the picture on his Twitter page. ”Rest in peace AmaPiano Giant Killed Kau”, Rasta captioned the post.

However, fans are not pleased as usual. Some people believe that the portrait that Rasta is painting looks like the late actor, Manzi Ngubane. There has never been a time that Rasta seemed to have gotten it right. His paintings have even scared the actress, Zenande Mfenyane who asked him to not paint her when she passes on. Rasta went ahead and did the painting while she’s still alive.

”Since she rather not be painted on her funeral, I thought I’d honor her while she’s still alive”, Rasta captioned the post.

When Rasta posted Killer Kau’s painting, fans immediately flooded with comments and it seemed like most of them were not happy. One Twitter user said, “I wish your phone can break shame so that you can stop it with your nonsense, this is not Killer Kau”.

Although some thought that Rasta put in a better effort on Killer Kau’s painting than he did in some of his previous paintings. What are your thoughts on Rasta’s painting of the late Killer Kau?
