Artist Rasta has made quite a name for himself for all the wrong reasons.

The man, who’s known for rocking up at high-profile funerals and memorials to paint portraits of the deceased was recently invited for a chat at Newsroom Afrika.

Rasta opened up about taking advice from his critics and improving which each painting. He also revealed that he is busy with a project in Hillbrow, painting a 10-meter wall. At the end of his interview, he presented a portrait of Newzroom Afrika reporter Mbali Thethani and let’s just say Mbali was lost for words. All she had to say was, “Oh Wow”, one could easily read the disbelief on her face.Rasta recently painted a portrait of actress Zenande Mfenyane dispute her wishes against it.
