Social media influencer and a diehard supporter and follower of President Cyril Ramaphosa, Thuso has sent a message to Thabo Mbeki, saying that the former president does not understand the workings of Ramaphosa. He noted that Ramaphosa has a plan of uplifting the people out of poverty, but does not want to make noise like his RET counterparts, revealing that Ramaphosa works without making noise. It came as a surprise to many people after former president Thabo Mbeki lashed out at Ramaphosa, saying that he did not fulfil the SONA promises he made to the nation and people of South Africa. It was particularly surprising to people because Thabo Mbeki had in the past always supported and defended president Cyril Ramaphosa. Furthermore, it was therefore strange to see him attacking the president during a live broadcast at Jesse Duarte’s funeral memorial.

 

 

 

The video clip of the ex-president lambasting Ramaphosa has gone viral because they have hitherto enjoyed a close and cordial relationship. Thuso told Mr Thabo Mbeki, “Dear President Thabo Mbeki. ANC got wonderful plan to take out of poverty and president Ramaphosa don’t have any intention of popularizing himself with useless slogans like “RET” on expense of ANC. #Uyabuya Ramaphosa”. Mmusi Maimane also shared extracts of the video clip, saying that what Thabo Mbeki just raised is a serious issue. However, Ramaphosa’s Supporters and followers have come out to Lambaste Thabo Mbeki, accusing him of working out RET agenda. A social media user said that what Thabo Mbeki said was on point.
