Radio Presenter Leaves Ukhozi FM To Focus On Other Businesses

Ukhozi FM Sports Presenter Spha Mavuso has revealed that he’s going to be focusing more on other businesses as this is his last month being heard on air.

Spha Mavuso from Ladysmith has worked as a sports presenter on Ukhozi FM since 2010. Spha announced the news that he won’t be working at SABC and Ukhozi FM on his Facebook account.

Speaking with Isolezwe Spha mentioned that he won’t stop working in the industry he’s in, but he is leaving SABC because his time for him to leave has come.

‘I don’t know what the future holds for me, there’s a lot of things on my mind that I can do to make sure life goes on but I’m retirering from being a sport presenter. There are other sports organisations that have contacted me after hearing the news that I’m leaving Ukhozi FM. I am still having conversations with some of these companies as they’re also major organisations.’

‘Another thing I’m planning to do is to get into agriculture because I love it. I grew up watching my mother doing it and now my mother is too old, I can see that I can take agriculture to another level. I’m also into music as I have worked with Demor and Sun-El Musician. I would continue doing music.’

‘I am happy with my fire because I can see it’s bright. I will miss my fans at this station who I’ve worked very well with, and my colleagues who we have done a great job with. I would say my formal goodbyes when my leaving days are near.’ stated Spha
