On 14 December 2022, the remains of Elmoline Kemp, 46, her son Peter, 13, and her sister Shireen Isaacs, 54, were discovered bludgeoned to death in the backyard of their home in Bishop Lavis.

The neighborhood allegedly awoke to the news of a gruesome scene described in Nooitgedacht, Bishop Lavis, before 6 a.m.

Police have arrested an 18-year-old guy in connection with what they have labeled a “mass murder.” The suspect is a relative of the three victims, according to SAPS. The attack’s motivation remains unknown. On-site discovery and arrest of the culprit.
