Prophet Bushiri’s Malawi Court Case Gets Postponed, As The Judge Asks For More Information.

More drama from the fugitive couple of Self-proclaimed Prophet Shepherd Bushiri and his wife Mary Bushiri. As they are now contesting the constitutionality of their recent arrest in their home country of Malawi. Now the case the couple is trying contesting has actually been adjourned to the 14th of December, by the Malawian government. What baffles me about this, is how can Bushiri, fight the constitutionality of his arrest?, when he was the one who handed himself in along with his wife.

While you guys are still thinking about that, let’s go on to the statement given by the Malawian minister of Information, Gospel Kazako, and that statement reads as follows, “The high court sat to look at the (appeal) application, and there were certain technicalities that necessitated the judge to ask the state and Bushiri’s lawyers to make the further submissions.” that what had Minister of Information Gospel Kazako say on the matter.

The Malawian Businessman and Church leader along with his wife, did appear at the Lilongwe High court on Tuesday (December 1), to challenge the constitutionality of their arrest. Now like i said before, the arrest took place after they handed themselves into the Malawian Police custody, after a notice was issued by Interpol. Now the appeal related to the decision that had been made, by a lower custody which had ruled their arrest as “unlawful”.

While the couple as sill facing their caught case in Malawi, their escape from South still remains the subject of police investigation and a long with slew of charges including; fraud, money laundering, theft and rape charges await the prophet back in South Africa.

And as it stands right now, their luxury mansion in centurion in Johannesburg worth R 5.5 million has been seized by the state and couple have forfeited a combined sum of R 400,000 thousand rands bail money. For contravening their bails condition set for them by the Pretoria Magistrate court.
