Bontle Jade-Lee Modiselle is a South African creative known for her multi-talented career in acting, television and radio presenting, dancing, choreography, singing and modelling. In the year She became famous for her appearance in the dance film “Look at Me”, which won her the “Best Supporting Actress” award at the 2015 African Film Academy Awards.

Early life

Bonnell Jade-Lee Modiselle was born in Soweto, Johannesburg to parents Percy and Grace Modisele. He grew up mainly in the North East part of Johannesburg. Modele is from the Bantu-speaking ethnic group Tswana. Bontel has two sisters who are in the entertainment industry. They are fashion model, Refilwe Modiselle and television personality, Candice Modiselle. Their father, Percy Modiselem, is also a model.

He committed suicide and blamed himself. He dreamed about the mission and told his parents before the nightmare. His father’s death hit him hard.

After appearing in dancing and acting, Bontle made her television debut in 2016 in the SABC 2 reality competition series Franchise Showville alongside Rob van Vuuren. Along with her sisters, she presented an award at the South African Film and Television Awards the same year.

Bontle Modiselle started her dance career in 2007. At that time, she enrolled in dance classes led by choreographers. She made her debut in the entertainment industry as a music video model and frequent dancer. As for dancing, she moved into acting, making her debut in the 2014 dance film “Look at Me” where she played the supporting character “Kani” in the film.
