Prince Kaybee Shares Why Doesn’t Want To Work With Black Coffee

Prince Kaybee has stated that he has no plans to collaborate with Grammy-winning DJ and producer Black Coffee.

Since 2020, fans have witnessed clap backs and heated Twitter exchanges between the two DJs, and it appears they will never reconcile their differences.

Following Black Coffee’s February Podcast and Chill interview, in which he stated that their social media feud began because Prince Kaybee believed he had made it in his career and was full of himself, the Fetch You Life hitmaker responded in a recent episode.

“Before getting into the Twitter stunts, Black Coffee didn’t know me personally as a human being… He made an unknowing remark about my personality… for him to represent my character like that was a bit off, and I don’t think it’s worth my response,” he said.

When asked if he would consider working with Black Coffee, Prince stated that while he recognized the DJ’s accomplishments, he preferred not to associate himself with him.

“I really love the brand, I love what he’s accomplished, it’s someone who has always inspired me, but as a man with his own family and resources, and him being a man of his own, I don’t think I’d be able to learn anything from him now or associate myself with him in any issue moving forward, and there’s no need also, we can both coexist in our own different spaces.”

Prince Kaybee previously spoke candidly about his feelings toward Black Coffee in an interview with Everything SA Music.

“I’ve got this thing about me… it appears to be arrogance.” I need you to earn my respect on a very personal level. Respect and recognition are not the same thing. “I recognize you as the world’s best DJ, but you can’t make me respect you,” Kaybee said.

Because the two stars were never friends, there was no need for them to settle their differences, according to Black Coffee.

“He was never my type, so there’s nothing to work out.” He’s going about his business, and I’m going about mine.”
