Portia Ncwane shares pictures of different traditional attires with the legendary Mbuso Khoza, who worked with DJ Blackcoffee years ago on his EP called Music is King. They were wearing beautiful traditional clothing designs that show two people who are very big on their own culture. It is part of who they are at all times.

Having to dress culturally all the time, it explains itself when you meet that person. You don’t have to struggle a lot to have a conversation with that person. When you start a conversation, especially with someone you don’t know or meet one another, it is best for both of you to have the good things you already know about one another.

 

 

 

 

 

As for Portia and Mbuso, the best way would be to show how cultured they are. In that way, you will get to learn and listen to a lot of stories you have never heard about, especially since it had occurred privately. They are not just putting their cultural attire forward when they are speaking; they use their Zulu language at their best.

It is something that Zulu people are known to have while they are in different countries. Other people who used to have lost their language used to be Sepedi-speaking people, but it is only a few people who are speaking it in different countries or provinces. Culture is important because it will save you and you will not forget where you are coming from.

When you have met someone who is cultured like Khoza, you will live an inspired life from that moment. Just like Matalane Mokagatla from Limpopo, who has dedicated his life to living in the bush with an indigenous lifestyle that people used to have before the world changed. He is not keeping the great lifestyle to himself, but sharing what he knows with other people.
