Amapiano is a style of house music that emerged in South Africa in 2012. Amapiano is a hybrid of deep house, jazz and lounge music characterized by synths, airy pads and wide percussive basslines.

DJ Jaivane is a producer who has been a dominating force in the realm of Amapiano and Soulful music ever since the inception of the sounds and during this time he has gained influence and helped pushed the genre to its current height.

 

As we all know that DJ Vintos whose real name is Hector Ginimbi Buthelezi was reportedly shot dead on the 15th of March, his funeral was held on the 20th where Amapiano star DJ Jaivane and his other friends fired guns at the funeral.

The star and the other four people were arrested for doing so, they were arrested for possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition, and also firing guns in public. Lieutenant Colonel Mavela Masondo told the publication that the Amapiano DJ and the others will appear in Brixton Magistrate Court soon.

The Colonel said that DJ Vintos was shot by unknown suspects driving a BMW X3.

“According to reports, the victim was shot by unknown suspects driving a BMW X3. The circumstances that led to this shooting are unknown at this stage, and police investigations continue,” the publication quoted Colonel.

A lot of celebrities have passed away these days due to being shot by unknown suspects and for unknown reasons.
