When Zinhle Mavasa gave birth to a bouncing baby, little did she know that she would lose her beacon of hope.
The actress lost her 17 month old baby boy as he sadly passed away in a fatal car accident. That crash took place last year in June.
The actress features in the prominent SABC 2 telenovela Giyani: The land of blood.
It’s now been a year since that fatal episode occured in her life and she has now been faced with yet another catastrophe.
The month of June seems to be the coldest in Mavasa’s life, not for the same reasons as South Africans, but her life has took a turn for the worst this month.
It is alleged that she has since suffered a stroke and she is currently battling for her life.
It was only last year in June that she lost her 17-month-old son and then she was involved in a car crash that left her vehicle written-off the next day.
According to popular entertainment blogger Phil Mphela, Mavasa has lost her ability to do many things due to the stroke.
She reportedly lost her ability to read, write and speak. The news is yet to be verified by the producers of the show but Mphela is well known for breaking stories from the entertainment world.
