Many people were startled and on the verge of yet another celebrity suicide after the deaths of actor Patrick Shai in January and rapper and fashion icon Riky Rick two weeks ago. Unfortunately, the two heroes who lost their lives to suicide by hanging did so far too soon. Both Riky and Shai were found by their wives in their garages at respective Soweto family homes, and both were taken to the hospital by Riky’s management. There were no signs of life when Riky was admitted to the hospital. His real name is Rikhado Makhado.
 

 

A growing number of celebrities are speaking out about the difficulties they face on a daily basis. Singer Samthing Soweto, actor Minnie Dlamini and Black Coffee have all spoken out about their own struggles. In a brief video clip, the musician appeared to be distressed as he urged people to look out for those they care about because they’re going through a lot right now. However, he never explicitly stated or implied that he intended to take his own life, but social media users rallied to his cause and urged him to persevere.
