Samthing Soweto is one of the South African celebrities who opened up about going through a tough time. A few days after the passing of Ricky Rick, Samkelo opened up to the media about his mental health battle.

Samthing Soweto shared pictures of his new haircut on social media and asked his fans to rate the barber. He was mocked by most of his fans who said that he looks terrible, and asked him if his barber is a make-up artist. Despite this, some defended him, stating that celebrities in South Africa commit suicide largely due to being mocked.

Several of his childhood friends are defending him, saying that he has always been tall and skinny, and mentioned that he looked like this when he was with the acapella group, The Soil.

One of the social media users shared the following:

“Leave Samthing Soweto alone!! I hate the entitlement that most of y’all think you have over our bodies as celebrities, one can’t even take care of their well-being in peace”, he concluded.

Indeed, although the star is fighting his mental health battles he is naturally petite.
