South African social media influencer Mihlali Ndamase has been included in Forbes Africa’s “30 under 30” list of some of the continent’s revolutionary thinkers.Announced on June 1 and in its seventh year, the 2021 list featured what are touted as ground-breaking young entrepreneurs and thinkers. This was a big achievement because she was only 24 years old.
Mihlali Ndamase is well known and talented South African content creator, influencer and vlogger from Kokstad KwaZulu-Natal. She was a student at Wits University before giving up on the run for personal reasons, which are best known to her. Mihlali Ndamase went to the leaders in science fashion and she is also one of the founders of the Siyasizana Foundation started off as a makeup artist before circulating to influencing and vlogging.
She had ambitions to be a model, but that dream was interrupted when colleagues persuaded her that the industry was not generating good income. Mihlali also comes from an inspiring family, her father, a doctor, unfortunately passed away, and her mother, a leading fashion designer. I believe her family may have played a role in inspiring her to pursue her dreams because today she is one of the most influential and successful young women. She has over one million followers on Instagram and an estimated net worth of $600 000.
