Nomcebo Gumede better known as Mumsy on Uzalo soapie, is an actress, who got fame when she potrayed the role of Mumsy on Uzalo a soapie that airs every weekdays on 20:30 on SABC 1. Mumsy is 29 years old woman as of 2021, born in 1994 in Swaziland. Her exact date of birth and month is not disclosed yet and she does not have any children.

Uzalo’s Nomcebo Gumede (Mumsy) – if producers and directors can’t stay away from you, it means you are good and this is the case with Nomcebo Gumede, who keeps on making a comeback to Sabc1 drama Uzalo. Nomcebo never saw herself acting on TV. This is because one has to be well composed and there are dos and don’ts. She prefers theatre ,which offers an environment where you don’t have to limit yourself.

Mumsy was introduced to Uzalo as Pastor Mdletshe’s daughter. Immediately, she started hitting it off with Mastermind (TK Dlamini). Their hot relationship usually stole the show. To make her character more interesting, Mumsy has always been a troublemaker and an unruly fearless woman.

She took orders from on one and lived by her own rules. Nomcebo, however left the show in 2918 and have had the chance to play different characters, which were different to Mumsy. She played Chamai, on Ifalakhe. The drama tells a poignant story of a bygone era where power, superstition, rivarly and manipulation, thrive to ensure ample nail biting tension.

Nomcebo was also part of Etv Isipho, where she played Elihle. Unfortunately the drama series was cancelled beginning of the year. After leaving the number one soapie in the country, the character was cast off to Swaziland.
