People react after seeing what Babes was doing next to coffin of Mampintsha’ s mom

Bongekile Mildred Simelane (born July 26, 1994), better known as Babes Wodumo is a South African gqom artist and choreographer. Babes Wodumo married Mandla Maphumulo in 2020. In 2021 they had their first child, even though Babes’ parents didn’t know. They have a reality show, “uthando logo,” which premiered on thechannel (495). Her husband later passed away in December 2022, due to a stroke.

About a month ago Babes Wodumo lost her husband, people were sad and worried about her saying how will she cope because she is still young to be going through something so painful. But they were shocked when they saw her singing and dancing at her husband’s funeral saying what she is doing is wrong. But some people were understanding saying as people we mourn differently, and anyway Babes Wodumo is a dancer and Mampintsha was also a dancer, people need to understand that.

A month later her mother-in-law also passed away, and on 21 January 2023, they were burying her. During the funeral, serving Babes left people in tears after delivering an amazing speech. But things changed later after the funeral service as they were going to the cemetery outside the wall, out of the blue Babes decided to dance. Below is what was shared that left people in shock.

After seeing this video people were disappointed saying Babes is out of control. Someone even commented saying Babes is being disrespectful this is unacceptable. Maybe when Babes did this at her husband’s funeral it was ok because he was a dancer, but to do it at her mother-in-law’s funeral is a sign of disrespect especially knowing that they had a bad relationship. It’s like she is rejoicing that her mother-in-law is gone.

But someone also commented saying, People will judge babes for dancing at the funeral of her mother-in-law but they won’t judge the people who were singing for Ier, because they are the ones who are promoting what Babes is doing. People should just let her be, and allow her to heal in her way, Babes is hurting but people are judging her instead of helping her.
