Appointee Minister in the Presidency Thembi Siweya said the best way to respect Lufuno Mavhunga was to address all bad behaviors that a few students of Mbilwi Secondary School were seen doing in the video that has been flowing via online media since Monday, 12 April. Siweya conveyed a tribute in Tshirenzheni Village on Saturday, 17 April during an enthusiastic memorial service of the evaluation 10 understudy, who ended it all not long after the video of her being assaulted by an individual student turned into a web sensation via online media.
During the burial service, a few understudies cried wildly as they recollected their late classmate. “Schools ought to be secured zones. We need the branch of training to create projects and work with the School Governing Body and educators to make schools more secure spots,” said Siweya.
Limpopo MEC for Education Polly Boshielo said she had wanted to see Lufuno at the Ranch Hotel close to Polokwane in the following two years when matric results are reported.
