Radio presenter Patricia Kihoro has finally revealed her salary while at HBR Radio and it might not be something you pray for every night.

Kihoro rose from Tusker Project Fame and became a popular singer and actress before landing the radio gig on HBR where she was tasked with hosting African House music.

On social media, Kihoro explained why the job only paid her Ksh 25,000 and not as much as many assumed she was taking home.

“On my radio show, which people won’t believe me. I used to make twenty-five thousand shillings up until 2019 last year,” she said.Kihoro, who has now morphed into an influencer and has worked with big brands such as Barclays Africa, went on to reveal that she has never felt like the 25K was little because she loved the job and enjoyed it more than anything.

“To be honest it was two hours a week of my time and it was a labor of love. As much as it was twenty-five thousand which in the grand scheme of things is not that much, I never felt like they should be paying me two hundred thousand,” she said.

She left HBR in 2019 to become a full-time influencer and also get back to music and acting.
