Passengers Who Are Going to Zimbabwe Were Given 2L of Cooking Oil Each

The holiday season is family time; people will be going home to spend their holidays and all their yearly savings with their friends and family. Even those who work in foreign countries will be traveling back to their motherlands to enjoy the festive season at home. Other than that, some people may be traveling to other countries to spend their holidays there. A few days ago, we saw photos of heavy traffic at the Zimbabwean border to show that indeed Zimbabweans are heading back to their mother land.

Speaking of Zimbabwe, there are some good news for all the Zimbabweans as well as everyone who is going to Zimbabwe this festive season. There is a bus that is offering free cooking oil to all the people who are traveling to Zimbabwe. On the trending photos, bus passengers could be seen holding a 2-liter bottle of cooking oil and celebrating. This bus service is doing this as a way of wishing people a happy holiday season and as a Christmas gift to all the people who are going to Zimbabwe.

After this was posted on social media, many people praised this bus service for looking out for its customers. Things are very expensive in Zimbabwe; you can find that the price of cooking oil is 4X the way it costs here in South Africa. That is why many Zimbabweans are rushing to use this bus. On social media, someone even said it is true that Zimbabweans are prioritized in South Africa, but there are some people who are not happy about this.

In my opinion, I think this bus company is just trying. To attract customers, it’s not all about looking out for people who are going to Zimbabwe; this is just a marketing strategy. They know that this is family season; there are so many Zimbabweans in South Africa who will be going back home for the festive season, so the bus service is just trying to be unique in attracting customers.
