South African media personality, Somizi, was put on blast on Instagram, after the legendary Yvonne Chaka Chaka called him out. In a video shared on Thursday, 18 June 2020, Somizi was seen munching away at his lunch, which appeared to comprise a monstrous sandwich. The media star danced and sang with joy as he scuffed down his meal whilst showing off each bite to the camera.Thereafter, Yvonne immediately commented on the image, claiming that she had planned a date with Somizi, to which he did not show up to. She stated, “Wena man. I am angry with you. We had a date today.”One follower stated, “Why did you keep our mom waiting? Not cool!”, whilst another added to the conversation with, “You owe the nation apology, imagine you stood the whole MaDlamini up? A national treasure”. Somizi is yet to comment back on the post.

This proved though it’s the lockdown, it wouldn’t stop the special day from being honoured and what’s supposed to be done on it, done.

The Pitch Perfect actress recently posted a picture of herself on Instagram where she’s wearing a low-cut blue dress that’s showing off her slimmed-down figure.

This comes after the 40-year-old revealed that she wants to lead a healthier lifestyle and hopes to shed 75kgs by the end of 2020, People reports.

“Even if you have to crawl towards your goals, keep going. It will be worth it,” Rebel said in an Instagram post.“I’ll be honest with you guys – with my ‘Year of Health’ mission I’m trying to get to 75kg’s and career wise I’m trying to get one of my movies into production before the end of the year!

“Both of these things are requiring a daily effort and there’s constant setbacks – but I’m working hard,” she went on to say.Rebel, who works out six times a week, has asked celebrity personal trainer Jono Castano Acero, to help her shed the kilos. Her workout program includes weight training, High-intensity interval training (HIIT), mobility and tempo.

In a recent interview with The Sun, the Australian actress says she was paid by her bosses to “stay bigger” for her movie roles.“It’s not like I want to lose weight and get to around a certain number. It’s more than that. It’s about dealing mentally with why I was overeating and I had a job where I was paid a lot of money to be bigger, at times which can kind of mess with your head a bit,” Rebel said in the interview.
