Mzansi’s hit series Blood and Water stole the hearts of American actress Gabrielle Union and her hubby Dwyane Wade. When season 1 of the series came to an end, the couple was left yearning for more episodes like all of us.The teen series tells a tale of Puleng Khumalo who is investigating the cold case of her older sister, Fikile Bhele who was abducted at birth. Puleng believes that a Parkhurst student Fikile is her sister and she gets herself transferred to that school to investigate the case.Since the series got released, it has been receiving rave reviews even internationally. Just recently Netflix SA announced that it has been renewed or season 2.

The National Prosecutions Authority said all cases which were supposed to be heard at Roodepoort Magistrate’s Court have been postponed to next week Thursday.

What was supposed to be Muzikayise Malephane’s third appearance in court on Thursday was postponed.

The murder accused, accused of killing eight-month pregnant Tshegofatso Pule case was postponed because the Roodepoort Magistrate’s Court is currently being decontaminated after two police officers tested positive for Covid-19.

The National Prosecutions Authority (NPA) said all cases which were supposed to be heard today in court have been postponed to next week Thursday, Jacaranda FM reports.

Malephane was arrested on 17 June while travelling to Mpumalanga. Pule’s body was found stabbed and hanging in a tree in the veld in Roodepoort.In his last court appearance, he appeared virtually and requested to use his own lawyers.

Pule was last seen on 4 June when she left her boyfriend’s home in Soweto, her body was found by a community member, the story sent shockwaves around the country, with many people calling for swift justice.

Actress Noxolo Mathula acts on South Africa’s number one soap, “Uzalo”, where she plays the character, Lily.

She’s also acted in show like Mzansi Magic’s “eHostela” and “Ifalakhe”.

Mathula, like many other actors, was hard hit during the Covid-19 pandemic and received the “no work, no play” treatment, but the actor is glad to be back on set, even though the new working order is strict.“It’s great being back on set. We all understand that we need this job in order to make ends meet so everyone is cooperating to the rules. It is quite tricky acting with masks on because now our eyes need to tell the story, which is a great challenge,” said Mathula.

She said the production company has put in place all the necessary measures to make sure that everyone is protected.

“There’s no kissing, touching or anything that has to do with physical contact. We even social distance in our scenes.“Our food is packaged. The makeup department sanitizes our brushes regularly. Our number one rule is #NoMaskNoEntry!!! Literally turn back from wherever you come from just to get your mask,” said the actress.One thing the actress misses though is being able to greet her work colleagues with a hug.

“It’s just really hard not being able to hug my fellow colleagues, but we need to keep everyone and ourselves safe. We’re getting used to the new normal”, she said.
