Yesterday was a bittersweet moment for radio personality Somizi Mhlongo, whose mother Mary Twala was laid to her final resting place. The day also served as his husband’s 25th birthday, Mohale Motaung.In a video he posted on his Instagram page, Somizi explained that he had planned to tie the knot again this year with Mohale in Italy. Somizi’s wedding destination has always been in Italy, but Covid-19 sadly disrupted his plans.Instead, the TV star decided to surprise Mohale with a stunning diamond ring from Nungu Diamonds. The breathtaking wedding rock left many fans melting and on envy mode.

Gomora fans are rejoicing that Mam’ Sonto has restored order at Gomora High after a turbulent couple of weeks since Melusi fought with unruly learner, London.

 

After watching Melusi go through the most at the hands of Mr Ngoveni, Gomora fans were more than pleased when Mam’ Sonto (played by Connie Chiume) intervened and brought back order to the school.Mr Ngoveni and the district manager Tau were in cahoots trying to get rid of Melusi. Fans know the pair set up a trap for Melusi through London and the whole thing was orchestrated by Ngoveni.The streets had no choice but to stan when within minutes of finding out the chaos that was unfolding at Gomora High, Mam’ Sonto and her gogo-gangster swag stepped in and fixed the mess.

When Mam’ Sonto called Chillies and Bomba up to come put Tau back into order, the collective celebratory vibes could be felt everywhere on the Twitter streets. In fact, some of the drama’s viewers are convinced SA truly needs a Mam’ Sonto to help clean up the corrupt officials in government.

known for her role as Boniswa Langa on the e.tv soapie

Scandal!.

She rose to fame with her role as Naomi Malotana on the

SABC1 soapie Generations, from 2010-2011.

She later studied towards a B.Com Marketing, also with

UNISA.

Lusanda has played lead roles in a number of advertising

campaigns for clients including Knorrox, Kellogg’s

(Chocos), Brand Power (Ponds), Rama, Milo, Dettol and

McCain.

Her voice over work includes clients such as Google,

Edgars, KFC, DStv, the IDZ (Industrial Development

Zone), SALGA, UIF, Enterprise, Blue Ribbon, Sanlam,

In July 2016 she had a guest starring role as Penney in a

Season 2 episode of the SABC1 romantic comedy series

Dream World, which began life as a miniseries adapted
