YouTube sensation Mihlali Ndamase has opened up about experiencing vivid dreams, revealing how they have left her emotionally and physically exhausted.

The star took to Twitter recently to recount her battle with dreams at the moment, including one about her late father.
I’ve been dreaming a lot lately and they’ve all been extremely vivid, last nights dream was about my late father. I woke up soaking wet from sweating, and I don’t think I’ve cried that much in a dream before. Chile that was exhausting Mihlali followed her tweet with more information, delving deeper into her struggles with sleeping.

“To be honest, all my dreams have been emotionally exhausting. It’s kind of getting scary,”

Many Twitter users chimed in with their interpretations of her dreams. One user gave Mihlali hope and an opinion about dreaming.

“Extremely vivid dreams can be astral projecting. Detoxing your body and life and discovering parts of your life that you haven’t yet tapped into. It’s a scary now but a beautiful journey” wrote the user.

Rapper Cassper Nyovest has responded to reports that boxing may be suspended for the year, potentially putting a halt to his long-anticipated bout with rival AKA.

He took to Twitter to express his disappointment after former boxing promoter and boxing enthusiast Andile Sidinile said Boxing SA must forget about boxing matches happening this year.

Speaking to Sowetan, Andile said the decision should be made to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

“You can’t allow boxing to resume because even at the gyms, chances of infections are galore. Boxers train in enclosed environment compared to rugby or football where players train in an open field.”

Mufasa was looking forward to the fist-fight with AKA, that was set for September, and wrote: “Damn! This sucks!”

AKA first brought up the fight in a series of tweets earlier this year. Posting a video on Twitter of himself at the gym hitting a boxing bag, he wrote, “Tag short pan. Let him know his management don’t care about him letting him do this fight.

“Y’all think I’m joking. The fight is set for September. That’s why he’s been talking about ‘boxing’ in his interviews. Baiting me. Trust me. September. AKA vs Pony Boy. 10 rounds … EFC … winner takes all.”

At first Cassper appeared to reject the offer but later agreed.

“We need to meet in the ring. That’s all I want. It’s too late for apologies,” Cassper said on Speedsta’s Metro FM show.

As the number of people infected with Covid-19 continues to rise sharply, radio personality DJ Warras has questioned certain responses by the government to the pandemic.

The star has been vocal about the effects of the pandemic and issues around it over the last few months, and took to Twitter recently to respond to health minister Zweli Mkhize’s claim that scooters bought by the Eastern Cape health department to transport the sick “do not meet basic criteria to be used as ambulances”.

“No, the scooter project that was launched by the Eastern Cape department of health (ECDOH) does not meet the basic criteria for patient transport as an ambulance. The purpose of this project by ECDOH is mainly for widening access to primary health care and delivery of chronic medicine for the most remote areas of the Eastern Cape province,” the minister said, responding to a question from DA MP Siviwe Gwarube.

According to TimesLIVE, Mkhize said the national health department was not consulted on the specifications before the procurement of the scooters.

DJ Warras posted a snap of a bulletin carrying the news, and said the nation had gone into a lockdown to prepare for the Covid-19 storm, but now appeared as if it may not be able to handle the crisis.

He raised several other alleged irregularities in the response to the pandemic, and said it was a “trying time”

Musician Lady Zamar had to set the record straight after a tweep instructed her to put her fans in order when they compared her to the iconic Brenda Fassie.

Lady Zamar has been spreading positivity on the TL and mostly minding her own business.

However, on Thursday one tweep decided to sing her praises a lil too loud for naysayers when she said Lady Zamar’s catalogue could go head-to-head with Brenda’s.

Lady Zamar was obviously flattered by the comparison, and she said as much. Then again, who wouldn’t? Brenda is one of the greatest ever.

“Brenda was an icon unmatched since, and I absolutely love her. I’m honoured that you think that,” Lady Zamar said. But when other tweeps joined the convo, they asked Lady Zamar to tell her fans to come correct. One tweep tagged Lady Zamar and asked her to correct her fans because she “cannot match Brenda”.

Lady Zamar hit back politely, saying there was nothing to correct because she actually never said she does match Brenda.

“There is nothing to correct honey. Saying you’re honoured that someone thinks so doesn’t mean I think I’m a Brenda Fassie…”

Musician Lvovo has strong opinions about black people and funerals, and has ruffled more than a few feathers.

The musician slammed the typical high expense funerals most black people choose, and said that norm needed to die with 2020.

“The debt black people go through during funerals must end in 2020. People must not even expect a plate at funerals. It’s enough!”Lvovo was responding to the avalanche of negative feedback he got from people on Twitter after he insinuated that South Africans were most likely going to be the customers for outrageously priced designer coffins.

Lvovo shared his frustration about the “ridiculous” financial decisions he believes some South Africans are capable of making, like buying a Louis Vuitton coffin.

A picture of a Louis Vuitton coffin made its way to Lvovo’s timeline, and he immediately slammed it, saying “stupid” South Africans were most likely to buy it.

“Stupid Africans can really buy this! I don’t care what you say, we’re the only nation that can do such a stupid thing,” he said.
