So beautiful! Inside Nomzamo Mbatha’s 30th Birthday celebration

Nomzamo MbathaWith the ongoing virus crisis, actress Nomzamo Mbatha couldn’t let her special day just pass like that, therefore she had a little beautiful something she put together for the day.

She had a swell 30th birthday celebration with a lit photo shoot. Taking to social media she wrote;

I can’t tell you when last I had a birthday where there was a cake and candles on it, people singing and me closing my eyes to make a wish and blow out my candles. A simple act of a tradition. But what I have come to accept about my life is that the order of its happenings has always been unconventional. In every way.I was feeling nervous about this new turn, I felt ill prepared for it because I still have so many things I’m trying to grow out of and just wanting to show up as the best version of myself, for my Self, the People around me … and with the way things are going… to show up in the world unafraid of the trajectory of my life and the rooms I now sit in. As always, to do it scared anyway!

Nom also looked simple in the photos shared on Instagram; A light face-beat, no earrings, and jeweled-up black braids. On another post she captioned;

The typical Cancer in me went and personalized balloons with words of manifestation. And the 🌎 Globe… Because, we are stepping out into the world in the boldest way possible

This comes after President Cyril Ramaphosa’s speech during the coronavirus imbizo on Wednesday

In May, media personalities Khanyi Mbau and Uyanda Mbuli urged South Africans to join them in signing a petition for schools to be shut down for the remainder of the 2020 academic year. The petition is currently sitting at 179 935 signatures.

Schools closed in March shortly before President Cyril Ramaphosa announced a level 5 national lockdown.

He weighed in on the call by teacher unions on the closure of schools ahead of the peak of the virus.

Schooling for Grade 7 and 12 learners resumed in June after the Minister of Basic Education, Angie Motshekga, announced that all schools will reopen, despite many concerns that arose regarding the safety of learners and teachers.
