ZaharaEastern Cape-born singer Zahara bared her soul last night during an interview with Somizi Mhlongo-Motaung on his show Dinner At Somizi’s, where she was a guest.She addressed a number of issues, including her highly publicized alcohol problems.

“The problem wasn’t the drinking, it was what was making me drink. In 2014/15, I used to cry myself to sleep because of what was happening in my life at the time,” she said.

She said at some point when things were not going as planned, she wanted to head back home to East London but her mother talked her out of it.

Zahara, whose real name is Bulelwa Mtukutwana, told Somizi that after the debacle with TNS Records, she learned a lot about herself. She said she was becoming a savvy businesswoman who is going into logistics and various other businesses.She also said she has an upcoming album, which will be announced soon.

Our faves are slowly opening the lid on having the Coronavirus and the latest personality to do so is legendary musician, Simphiwe Dana. The singer shared a screenshot of the post she had created speaking about her experience in detail.

In the post she explains that not only did she have COVID-19, but her whole family had contracted the virus. The singer had previously told the harrowing story of her elderly mother having contracted the virus. But her latest post revealed not only has her immediate family healed, but her mother too.

Simphiwe then went on to express her fears about the virus coming back and affecting her weak lungs. She expressed that to curb her fears she has taken to rinsing her nasal passage. Fans used the comments section to send out messages of support and offer their own remedies that worked for them during their ailments. It was the exact same situation here with my family and I.
