Viewers of The River have been left emotionally unstable due to the show’s latest episode that has seen the tragic end of a storyline that had many believing there was hope for a new favourite couple on the show.

Abuti Ntsizwa’s death on The River left viewers shattered and ready to cancel the show as they were left in disbelief over the death of the character who just joined the show but had a storyline that had many hoping for the best outcome.

Renowned Mzansi actor Meshack Mavuso joined The River to portray the love interest of Rakgadi Kedibone portrayed by Tsholofelo Matshaba.

Unfortunately, Ntsizwa was dying due kidney failure but the couple was willing to make things work despite the hurdles.Viewers were left gutted when Ntsizwa passed away after a romantic evening with his love, where he also proposed to her and viewers were left optimistic but that was all cut short when after a nap he didn’t wake up.

Whilst he is probably just doing his job viewers feel that the show’s producer Phathu Makwarela is playing with their emotions and are starting to think that he is the show’s real villain and actually not Lindiwe.

AKA took to Instagram to confirm that he is not one of the many South African artists struggling during the coronavirus pandemic, however, that is not going to stop him from supporting them during this challenging time.

In a Twitter post on Sunday, 19 July 2020, AKA responded to a Tweep who called him out for supporting struggling artists, despite mocking the under privileged in the past. Tarryn Daniels referenced AKA’s rant from last week which blamed the South African government for not helping musicians during the pandemic, who have not been able to earn a living due to the banning of live events.

Tarryn stated, “The same AKA was once asking ppl if they were enjoying their king pie while he eats his Lobster lunch … now look.” The rapper quickly responded to the slam, confirming the fact that he is in fact surviving without a live gigs.

He replied with, “Sorry to break it to you, but I don’t depend on gigs to survive. I made my lamb stew with a nice Pinotage this evening. Now look at you.”After his followers began lambasting him for once again showing off his privilege, AKA reiterated the fact that just because he’s not struggling, he still plans on using his platform to speak out for those who need help.

Legendary actor Allen Booi on Monday morning passed away at his Johannesburg home.

His passing was announced by Trinity Management on Twiter. The actor is known for his role’s in Igazi, Tsha Tsha, After 9 and Isidingo.The South African government along with several Mzansi actors have taken to social media to pay their condolences to the late actor.

His family is expected to release a statement.It’s of great sadness to announce that Actor Allen Booi passed on this morning at his JHB house.
