Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie, has set the internet alight after declaring his interest in running for president.
Sarkodie, in a post on social media on Thursday, July 23, 2020, shared photos of himself dressed in a black kaftan-like shirt over a pair of striped material trousers.
“Presidential candidate 2024 Anaa mo se?” which translates to “Presidential Candidate 2020 or what do you say?“
The post has triggered reactions on social media, with many of the award-winning rapper’s fans already declaring their support for him.

Starting right guard Laurent Duvernay-Tardif announced on social media that he wouldn’t be returning for the 2020 NFL season due to COVID-19.
The 2020 NFL season was initially suspended due to the widespread COVID-19 pandemic, but it’s reported that the league is looking to kick-off sooner than expected. While there have been a number of reported coronavirus cases among NFL players, the league seems to been pushing forward, regardless. Days ago, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson publicly expressed concern on social media about returning to the field in the middle of a pandemic with a then-pregnant wife, and now it’s being reported that the Kansas City Chiefs starting right guard Laurent Duvernay-Tardif has decided to opt-out of the current season.

The professional football player wrote a lengthy message that he shared on social media about his decision to bow out of the 2020 season due to COVID-19, making him the first player to do so. Duvernay-Tardif has three more years remaining on his contract and was set to earn a base salary of $2.75 million.

Now, Adrien Broner has come forward to say that he’s having some troubles with his forthcoming mixtape Still Adjusting to Fame due to clearance issues, including a stalemate with Meek Mill.

“I guess I’m go have to put my music out on @mymixtapez cus non of these n*ggas I felt like they was my BROTHAS don’t wanna get these records clear,” Broner penned on Instagram before mentioning Boosie Badazz, Yella Beezy, and Young Thug. “@officialboosieig and @yellabeezy214 the only one trying to let me get this sh*t clear #OnGodNeM.” In another message captured by Hollywood Unlocked, Broner called out Meek Mill.“Crazy thing is I really got love for all these n*ggas bra @meekmill saying he don’t want it out cause it’s a old verse but I paid you for the verse my n*gga let me put this sh*t out!” Broner added. “@thuggerthugger1 not tripping he know we locked in like we in quarantine #GANG.” Meek hasn’t publicly responded to Broner, but until he does, let us know if you’re looking forward to the boxing champ’s project.

His latest single is already heating up streaming services as Jaden Smith announces he has a new project on the horizon. The middle Smith child continues his music rise with “Cabin Fever,” and alternative-indie offering he dropped off on Friday (July 24). The 22-year-old artist chatted with MTV’s Fresh Out Live about his new single and shared that he’s readying a new album titled Cool Tape Volume 3.
I kinda, you know, pulled this from some real-life experiences and also kinda dreamed it up in my head a little bit, cause I like to create stories around my music,” he said. “That’s kinda what the story of it is, and I’m really excited about it. I’m hoping that people can relate to it as well with having that person that you wanna see and then feeling like the whole world is stopping you from seeing them…literally.”
