Since the South African Music Awards (SAMAs) nominations were announced a lot of people have been unhappy and now tweeps are calling for the long-running awards to fall.

With huge hits such as Jersusalem by Master KG not being nominated for the popular awards, many have accused the award organisers of ignoring some artists over others, whilst others having accused artists of buying nominations.

Poet Ntsiki Mazwai has also added her voice to the call for SAMAs to fall. The personality tweeted that the SAMAs are controlled by a bunch of industry men “who themselves have no talent but usually sleep with the talent.”

Skeem Saam’s Karabo Mokhubela Has Passed Away

The Skeem Saam community has lost yet again another talented actor. Karabo Mokhubela who played the character Jazzy T has passed on at just 40 years of age.

Skeem Saam’s official twitter page confirmed the news of Jazzy T’s passing. He was a music producer on the popular educational show and he was also Bontle’s, played by Keamogetswe Leburu, onscreen boyfriend.

The actor was part of the Skeem Saam community since the hit soapie’s inception in the year 2011.Rest in Peace Karabo (JAZZY T) Mokhubela. You will be sorely missed!

We keep his loved ones in our prayers.The soapie also lost one of it’s treasured actors, Big Boy Mabitsela played by the late Charles Maja.

The veteran actor was confirmed to have passed on due to suffering from a stroke.

Tributes and heartfelt messages from disheartened fans are pouring in.
