South African musician, Prince Kaybee has cleared the air on his alleged hard feelings towards industry peer, Cassper Nyovest.
The pair, who have exchanged words on Twitter which have led to tweeps pinning them against one another, actually don’t have beef that has warranted them the title of “enemies”.onse to a follower who asked Prince Kaybee about why he doesn’t like Cassper, he responded with, “I actually like Cassper, an inspiring Tswana man.I would like to be his friend and DRIVE his Bentley… But I don’t think if I like him I shouldn’t have an opinion.” He also clarified that his nickname. “Shotpan”, was made out of jest, and didn’t have any malicious intent behind it.

A few months ago Television and radio presenter Kuli Roberts, bagged a role of Mzansi Magic’s popular Telenovela The Queen. The larger-than-life TV host, has been playing the character of Mildred Sefatsa, a 41-year-old a glamorous woman, who is a sugar mama and an Instagram slay queen.
While she has been basking in all the compliments and positive feedback, they have been a few people who are dragging her for her “poor” acting skills.
The star recently talked to TshisaLIVE about the harsh criticism she faced from Sello Maake-Ncube.
“I’ve had a lot of positive feedback but Sello Maake-Ncube called up and said, ‘Hayi … you are doing a terrible job, you’re stiff and you should have come to me for master classes …’”
While feedback is always great what bothered the actress was how he went about it.“Look, he called me out of the blue and offered masterclasses. You don’t call a person out of the blue and just unsettle them further but that’s Joburg for you. The cruelty? We take it all the time.
Zodwa Wabantu does too much, splashes R240 000 on bodyguards
Zodwa Wabantu takes her safety very seriously, having spent R240 000 on VIP protection.She’d been planning for the Vodacom Durban July for some time but had to change plans when she learned it would be indoors.
“This meant tightening security and cancelling my butterfly dress,” she said.
“As a result, I was flanked by 12 bodyguards
“This wasn’t just for security purposes, but was meant to create hype and drama wherever I go.”
She wouldn’t have gone the extra mile if it was a normal race.
“Greyville Racecourse is already secure. But this time I was booked all over KZN and had to make sure I was safe.
“This came at a price, but I’m not complaining because it comes with the job.”
She also had to cancel an outfit.
“I had already paid R15 000 for my outfit and was about to pay the remaining R8 000.
She’d prepared two outfits.
“She’d already paid the deposit, but we cancelled due to lockdown.”
Bodyguard Abel Siyesu said: “She paid each of us R20 000. Our duty was to ensure her safety, open doors for her, and basically treat her like a lady.
“We were with her from morning until late.”
“The second outfit was designed by Musa Bassel, and this was the dress I ended up wearing on Saturday,” she said.
Ngcebo Nkosi confirmed he’d already been paid when they decided to cancel the dress.
“But it’s not a train smash. I’m not going to ask for a refund from Ngcebo.
Instead, I’m going to put the money as a deposit for next year’s race.”
Bonang Matheba Starts the countdown for her documentary #AveryBonangYear
South African media personality, Bonang Matheba, has started the countdown for her documentary special, which follows her exciting move to America, and the months that followed.
The star took to Instagram to announce to begin the build-up, sharing images of herself celebrating with merchandise for the show which premieres on Saturday, 1 August 2020.
Posing in her new red hair and Fendy body suit, Bonang laughed as she sat amongst her large pink balloons. She stated, “…. start the countdown!! 4 days to go…”A Very Bonang Year has also been trending on social media, with fans unable to contain their excitement for the upcoming show. Bonang also did a Live Instagram video on Monday, 27 July 2020 which geared fans up for her show.
Former Isidingo actor Jet Novuka joins Uzalo
Uzalo is looking to shake things up with new characters joining the soapie and others exiting.Veteran actor Jet Novuka was announced as the hit telenovela’s newest addition. Jet will be playing Captain Yamkela Mpambani who is a fierce and no-nonsense taking cop. Criminals in KwaMashu will be given a hard time by the new Sheriff in town who is said to be stout.
The show has been in the spotlight for the past few weeks after they have let go of some of their beloved characters Thulani Shange and Sizwe Khumbuza. It is alleged that the two have been shown the door.
Making her return, Nomcebo Gumede who plays the troublesome Mumsy, is said to shake things up.
In a statement Uzalo said they will be bringing in familiar faces to their storyline to shake things up.
“True to form, every season brings on fresh faces to deliver exciting twists, as well as reintroduces familiar faces to shake things up,” read a statement.
Creative Director for Uzalo Brenda Mukwevho welcomed Jet to the Uzalo family, said, “We’re excited about Sir Jet Novuka joining the Uzalo family and Nomcebo Gumede returning to the family. We have some great plot twists coming up and cannot wait for audiences to see what the cast will deliver!” they wrote.
Nombulelo Mhlongo will also be departing from the show.
