Rapper Nasty C is sticking to his sound and is not prepared to change it anytime soon.

Nasty has been criticized for rapping mostly in English and being a rapper from Durban Kwa-Zulu Natal, many expect him to embrace Zulu more. His much anticipated album is titled Zulu Man With Some Power that is set to be released on August 28, fans should expect some a lot of Zulu verses from it.

The Def Jam signee is also not looking to experiment with other diverse African sounds unless he is approached by an artist for a feature.

“I want the world to know there’s more than just Afrobeats in Africa. Even my Zulu verses, I kept them for my album. Everyone had been saying ‘you from Durban, why do you never rap in Zulu?” he argued.

Disputing claims that he is trying to start some beef between him and A Reece by rushing his album release, he said he simply does not care.

“I didn’t even know he dropped that (teaser). I didn’t know. I am not out here keeping tabs on other artists. But I know social media is like that. They are bored at home at the moment and nothing is going on in their lives, so they just want to see something happen.

“They just want to be entertained, but I am not worried about that kind of stuff. Each to his own, say what you want, I don’t care really,” he said.

A fan wrote a very sincere message to Somgaga on Twitter where he asked for his old clothes and shoes that he doesn’t wear anymore.

To his surprise, Somizi responded saying he is gathering the clothes for him, hoping that they are the same size. He then asked for his address and the rest is history.

“Dear Somizi Mohale Mhlongo. You said we should ask the Universe and it will respond.I wrote this to ask the Universe to ask if I may please have your old clothes and shoes that you don’t wear any more,”

Somgaga responded by saying, “the universe has responded to timing is perfect…I hope we wear the same sizes…what’s yo shoe and suit size?” he asked.

The entertainer assured his fan that his clothes are on their way.This is one of many of Somgaga’s good deeds. Last week he tended to three of his follower’s requests, where the first one was a chef who needed some new cookware, the second was a mother whose son is a major Somgaga fan, she wants Somizi to sing happy birthday for him. And the last was a designer who Somizi promised to purchase 10 of his clothing items.

His 7 year marriage with his estranged wife Refiloe Temudzani has allegedly crumpled, and it has apparently been that way for some time now.

He has also reportedly moved out from his matrimonial home in Johannesburg. This according to family friends who want to remain incognito.

Their families intervention has also failed dismally, however they are tasked to keep the marriage afloat as they want the two to work things out and be the happy couple they were before their problems started.

Not wanting to comment on the issue, Temudzani told the publication that it is not anybody’s business that he and Refiloe have separated.

“So, what is the issue when I am separated from my wife? That’s none of your business. It’s not a story that I’m separated from my wife,” he responded.

Jerusalem vocalist Nomcebo Zikode has dropped her own track Xola Moya Wam and for the song, she has teamed up with Master KG.

The track is the first release of Nomcebo’s upcoming debut album which will consist of five tracks. Xola Moya Wam sees hitmaker Master KG exploring the amapiano genre.
