Sandows chronicled her health woes in a lengthy Instagram post where she wrote

The actress as she mentioned in her post did not want to delve on what was wrong with her but wanted to focus on the positive side which is that she has been healed. The actress earlier this year married fellow co-worker Hungani Ndlovu in a low key event.

Most people did not know that the couple had got married even their fans were surprised after they each posted vague pictures on their Instagram accounts hinting that they had tied the knot. The couple soon after started a Youtube channel where they shared a short video of their wedding day. The channel also talks about their marriage and lives.

“About 4 weeks (more than 6 visits, DURING A WHOLE PANDEMIC) of back & forth to the ER, being admitted, discharged, only to be rushed back a day later. Today was my final check up and I pleased to report that after an emergency op, I AM HEALED!!I won’t disclose reasons because they don’t matter. What matters is that God is so good. So faithful, His mercies are new everyday. Life is fragile, so choose to live. No matter how bad a situation may seem, know this- “there is nothing new under the sun. Everything that is, has already been” And the same God that was, still is and will forever be NO MATTER WHAT. I am a living testimony to this. Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi knew the victim personally and she took to Twitter to share the news and how it left her and her family as Kwasa was her little sister’s friend.

She wished her a peaceful rest after writing how her death left her without words, “My little sister’s friend, a beautiful joy to me and my family. She was stabbed to death by a boy because she didn’t want him. I don’t even know what to say. Ngxesi Malebomvu ntombi encinci. Uphumle ngoxolo,” she wrote.

University cancels event featuring Mbongeni Ngema

Mbongeni NgemaAn event at the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) where legendary playwriter Mbongeni Ngema was meant to be the main speaker has been cancelled.

The event’s cancellation comes after recent allegations of gender-based violence against the seasoned the actor made by his ex-wife Xoliswa Nduneni-Ngema in her tell-all book Heart of a Strong Woman.

Mbongeni has confirmed being aware that the event has been cancelled following the article.

“The university told me that they are cancelling the event because of the article published last week. I’m not concerned by the cancellation; I am actually used to these things by now where newspapers write things about me,” he told Sowetan.

The event, Arts and Social Justice: The Pursuit of a Non-racial, Non-sexist Democratic South Africa was meant to be held virtually on August 27.
