It is unclear whether Khanyi’s trip was for business or pleasure, however tweeps claimed that during the pandemic, essential travelling should be to exciting places, and according to public opinion… Bloemfontein definitely did not meet the mark.

It is quiet evident that Somizi and Vusi Nova are very close friends however their ‘bromance’ is questioned by many.

On his reality show Dinner At Somizi’s, the entertainer seemed to let it slip that he and Vusi Nova are “kissing buddies.” The confession is not a surprise considering their close friendship.

He believes that there is some form of obsession with people’s sexuality on social media and he is fed up about it.

After posting a picture of him and the best man who seem to be enjoying a day out for lunch, homophobic messages flooded his comments section and he took them head on.

One of the comments suggested that Vusi Nova was gay but stubborn because he is afraid of coming out, saying it is high time that he did.

Coming to defend his BFF and love of his life ‘LOML’, he told the troll to stop the obsession with their sexality saying that Vusi is content with himself.

“angilwi ngiyabuza (I’m not fighting, I’m asking)..what’s the obsession with other people’s sexuality…its as if the answers will improve a certain aspect of your life….or as if it makes one feel better about themselves if they out someone else….trust me he is content and I hope you are too and enjoy your life,” he clapped back.

Another follower said that most people find comfort in knowing that someone else gained the courage to come out, makes them want to come out of the closet themselves.

Somgaga disputed that and simply said people should be comfortable in their own skin otherwise they should just deal with their homophobia.

“…how many people should come out for people to be comfortable with themselves and why should it take that for them to reach that point…do u think if more black people owned land and the world would mean racism will end …nope…I just think people must deal with their homophobia,” he wrote.

Viewers can expect Vusi Nova to appear at Somgaga’s new cooking show alongside Ringo Madlingozi and the trio will be serving some vocals.nah fam kanti how many ppl shud come out for ppl to be comfortable with themselves and why shud it take that for them to reach that point…do u think if more black ppl owned land and the world wud mean racism will end …nope…I just think ppl must deal with their homophobia

Black Coffee Is Honoured By Chadwick Boseman The late movie star was an avid Black Coffee music listener

The world is still reeling from the sudden passing of Black Panther movie star, Chadwick Boseman, who was revered across the international entertainment industry as one of the best to ever grace our screens. His tragic passing due to colon cancer over the weekend was confirmed by his Social Meid accounts on the 28th of August.
Our very own international star, Black Coffee, paid tribute to him again yesterday and expressed how much he was honoured that Chadwick enjoyed listening to his music while he was working. In a short video clip posted by the DJ yesterday, Chadwick can be seen counting the number of artists he listens to when he is focused on work. With visible excitement, at 1:08 minutes he mentions Black Coffee’s “Get it together” song with international superstar, Drake.

It is no secret how much of an impact, Black Coffee has had both locally and internationally, having worked and produced music for Usher, Drake and Alicia Keys just to name a few. Even going as far as hosting Usher while he was in Mzansi and showing him around Pretoria.

The fact that he was admired by the Black Panther while he was still alive comes as no surprise, and his fans truly loved this. Many of his fans appreciated how much impact Black Coffee has internationally, yet he remains so humble and continues to raise the Mzansi flag high by promoting our music to the rest of the world and plugging other artists while he is on tour, like he did with Master KG.

Through all the drama and publicity, he continues to work hard and get recognition from some of the best artists in the world, which is why his fans have dubbed him the King of South African House Music.

Some fans even suggested that an album in Chadwick’s honour would be unforgettable, obviously Black Coffee is yet to respond to that Tweet. We doubt the album will happen and it wouldn’t seem right for the King of House to profit from the sad death of Chadwick Boseman. That being said, his death touched mostly black people across the world because of the impact his role and movies had on black culture. From ordinary citizens to celebrities alike, his impact and humility touched us all.

Ulale ka kuhle T’Challa!

Do you think Black Coffee should produce an album to honour the Black Panther?
