The plus-size blogger was dragged on Twitter after she claimed the movement was “not for skinny girls”. A few irate followers also brought up a handful of old tweets posted by the activist, claiming she has a history of ‘skinny-shaming’ women.

But the influencer hit back at the claims, insisting while she’s all for body positivity for all women, the particular movement was created for women whose bodies do not fit society’s standards.

She tweeted from her now private account; ““I was highlighting the fact that the body positivity movement is being hijacked by people who are already accepted in society and subsequently pushing out the people it was originally meant for which is fat people.”

Speaking to All4Women, Sifiso Meyiwa, Senzo’s older brother said: “We only became aware of the reports when we saw the papers. No one told us anything.”

He went on to say: “There is nothing much we can say at this time. We’ll be convinced when the matter is in court.”

Senzo Meyiwa was gunned down at the home of his then girlfriend Kelly Khumalo in October 2014.
Over the years, authorities have made several assurances that there is progress in the case. Last year, Minister Bheki Cele hoped that the case would be solved by Christmas Day, but it was not to be.Recent media reports allege that a hitman was nabbed in connection with the goalkeeper’s death. The hitman allegedly claimed that he had been paid by Khumalo to commit the murder. Khumalo would not be drawn to comment on those claims.

A disheartened Sifiso Meyiwa says: “There have always been reports about progress, but nothing ever happens.”

The family is disappointed that after all these years, no one has been officially charged and put on trial.
