Penny Lebyane is determined to get justice one way or another as she has pleaded with the courts to have DJ Fresh behind bars.

Penny wants DJ Fresh arrested for perjury. This after the DJ mentioned her name in court papers he made in an attempt to clear his name from rape allegations.

In an attempt to clear her name from the allegations thrown around naming DJ Fresh a rapist, Penny has pleaded with the Johannesburg high court to have him behind bars for possible perjury.

DJ Fresh had made claims that they were in a relationship which had ended because Penny had become toxic.

According to OkMzansi, Penny filed notice of motion papers on August 6 as her ex lover DJ Fresh had made claims against her.

Last month Penny had requested the DJ to provide proof that she was the original author of the damning tweets accusing him of rape. These were further shared by activist and poet Ntsiki Mazwai.

“My lawyers have served Mr Sikwane’s lawyers with a letter requesting proof that I am the originator of the post that Miss Ntsiki Mazwai is being taken to court based on and where and when was a restraining order served to me 19 years ago.

“We sent the letter of request to DJ Fresh’s team and we gave them a deadline for them to respond. They responded and are requesting an extension. I am declining this on the grounds that they filled this affidavit a while back and they are aware that this matter would appear (before a judge). I was ambushed by a newspaper with a violent headline which sent shock waves though my family,” she said.

Fresh had also made claims that he had a restraining order against her former girlfriend, of which Penny denies such and still requests proof.

Kelly Khumlo once again landed on the trends list after reports claimed that an alleged hitman stated that Kelly was responsible for the death of the father of her second born, Thingo Khumalo, who is six years old this year.

These reports state that the hitman was responsible for killing the beloved soccer figure after he was questioned.

Commenting on these claims, Sfiso Meyiwa told All4Women that they never received any news on the matter and they only heard about it when news broke on social media.

“We only became aware of the reports when we saw the papers. No one told us anything. There is nothing much we can say at this time. We’ll be convinced when the matter is in court,” he told the publication.

He further added that his family is devastated by how long it is taking the murder mystery to be solved.

“There have always been reports about progress, but nothing ever happens. Actually, we don’t even like talking about this thing because it brings so much pain,” he further added.

The Senzo Meyiwa murder mystery has been a six year ongoing contentious matter that has haunted Kelly’s career and public profile. From the onset Senzo Meyiwa’s death has been a thing of mystery with a house that had Kelly, her sister, Zandie Khumalo, Zandie’s boyfriend at the time, Longwe Twala, and other friends and Kelly’s mother. Ironically, none of the present parties could share what actually happened which caused many to suggest that it was an inside job.

Disputing the mystery hitman’s claims, Kelly said “thank you for informing me” then proceeded to end the call.

A previous interview on her reality show with Massive Metro’s DJ Sbu and Tshepi Khanye. she opened up about her late boyfriend and how her “life took a turn for the worst” when he died.

“I don’t know what to say, I think what I want to say to you is I would have been better off with you alive than gone,” she said.

Battling the tears, she adds “My life took a turn for the worst and I’ve never really thought that in my existence I would be hated by so many so intensely.

“You know at first I thought maybe if they find the killers I would feel better and maybe my life would change but I realized that even that will not bring him back. That will never allow my daughter to have a father or me to have someone I call family a friend who is there no matter what irrespective of my shortcomings,” she said.

Television actor Mangaliso Ngema will reportedly lead a brand new series titled Family Secrets, the forthcoming show will see the Lithapo actor star as Caesar Mokwena – the continent’s richest banker.

The news was shared by trusted entertainment commentator and blogger Phil Mphela through his Twitter account. This obviously didn’t sit well with a lot of people on social media because of the sexual allegations pinned against the former Lithapo actor.

Many believe that he doesn’t deserve to be on television until he is proven innocent or cleared. Mangaliso was fired from e.tv’s Lithapo following an outcry from beloved actress and television personality Lorraine Moropa, who opened up being sexually harassed by a senior actor on the set of Lithapo. It was later revealed that Mangaliso Ngema was the man accused.

However, it is important to note the production was probably shot before the allegations. So SABC, which is the network that will air the series did not anticipate that things would turn out like this for Mangaliso. No one from the channel is yet to comment on the upcoming show. Some fans are already asking for a proper explanation from SABC 1 as to why they have decided to air Family Secrets.

A few actors and actresses in South Africa stood in solidarity with Lorraine by posting pictures of the accused on social media.

Ngema has since come out with a public apology on his Facebook account which read, “I am not going to deny any allegations levelled against my name. I will take full responsibility for the sexual harassment case. I apologize to Miss Lorraine Moropa and others for the abuse I directed towards them.”

This was followed by a video on Ngema’s social media detailing everything that happening, according to him. Responding to Lorraine’s allegations that he touched his genitals while looking at her, the actor said he did that because his costume onset was too tight and he was just fixing it and that she misread the whole situation. He then tried reaching out to the actress to resolve the issue.

The incident happened in the Magalies Mountain near his home in Pretoria where the 60-year-old was training for the BrightRock Battle of the Sports.

According to a text message seen by Sport24 , a source close to Bester said that he was “beaten with rocks, dragged up a hill and beaten again with rocks and tied up and left for dead.”

“His injuries are very serious. Broken ribs, broken jaw, bad cuts in his head. Will report more info when I learn more. I have spoken to him going for x-rays to check for internal injuries,” the source added.

Bester, who won the Comrades Marathon in 1991, is currently in Eugene Marais Hospital in Pretoria.
Bester’s son Shaun-Nick Bester , who is a professional mountain biker, took to Instagram to share the gruesome photos of his father’s attack.
