Actress Samkelo Ndlovu is frustrated by scheduled power cuts

Samkelo NdlovuActress Samkelo Ndlovu has joined thousands of South Africans who have taken to social media to share their frustration and the inconvenience of load-shedding.

Samkelo took to Twitter to vent about planned load-shedding in her area for the next two weeks.Samkelo NdlovuYoh! Just checked my area’s load-shedding schedule. How are we load-shedding every day for the next two weeks?,” she asked.“I’ll take any job to just move me to New Zealand because where the f**k is my tax actually going? Every state-owned company is the pits and reform is a myth,” she tweeted.It was increasingly difficult for most South Africans to take on load-shedding with grace amid the cold weather.

Actress Zenande Mfenyana and sports presenter Robert Marawa were also among those who were also over load-shedding.

Happy news! Sphelele Mzimela gives birth to twins

Sphelele Mzimela has given birth to her twins but her journey has been a long one.

Although it had been leaked that the actress is pregnant after she allegedly fainted on set, she only revealed that she was expecting a few months ago.

Uzalo even discharged her of her duties as Mazaza although it is not clear if the pregnancy played a role in her dismissal. At the time of her firing Tshisalive had it that: “Unfortunately Sphelele, who played Mazaza, was unable to continue with her role due to her personal ailments. Uzalo wishes her good health and a speedy recovery.”

Sphelele also spoke to Move Magazine about her pregnancy journey and said although she had been trying to conceive for many years without success she never went to the doctor to find out why for fear that the doctor would tell her she could not conceive.

She said she understands why she was unable to conceive in a few years because the stars were just not aligned.

When she did fall pregnant with twins she was over the moon She took to Instagram to announce the good news.

“My grandmother (my mother’s mother) whom I haven’t seen since I was 8 came to visit us a few weeks ago. She revealed to me that twins actually run in our family. The father of my children, his mother is a twin.

“I get that it might not have been that I was unable to conceive, the stars were just not aligned. I have never been happier but carrying twins is wild,” she said.

This past week the actress took to social media to announce that her twins were finally here.

South African Film starring the late Candy Moloi & Charles Maja scoops international award

Candy Moloi & Charles MajaBogoshi Bjaka, a film starring late actors Charles “Big Boy” Maja and Candy “Vho Makhadzi” Moloi recently scooped two coveted international awards at the Crown Wood International Film Festival in Kolkata, India.The late actors, who both died earlier this year, starred in the film alongside Sipho Eric Ndlovu, David Mello and Innocent Sadiki. Charles, who is best known for his role as Big Boy on Skeem Saam, died in April after suffering a stroke. Candy, of Muvhango fame, died in July after a long battle with cancer, aged 67Big boy.

The Sepedi film about two blood brothers from a royal family who are at loggerheads over the chieftaincy, won two awards at the festival: for best feature film and best woman filmmaker, for producer Lizzy Moloto.This was in addition to being nominated for best film at the Hollywood International Golden Film Awards in Los Angeles in August, where it made it to the finals.
