When Vhudi first came to Idols SA auditions, people thought that he was about to be total trash and part of the wooden mics. However, when the singer sang his own written song titled ‘Yoki Yoki’ he blew away the minds of the judges and the viewers. People liked the song to the point where they wanted the studio version of the song.

The singer also had famous musicians such as Tresor, who he was compared to, wanting to work with him. However, within the first theatre auditions the musician was sent off by the Idols SA judges. The removal of the singer from the competition hurt the viewers that were behind him winning the competition.

Some people were hurt by the removal, to the point where some of them have decided that they will be ending their Idols SA journey. This is what some of the people had to say about the elimination of the musician from the competition:

London – Beyoncé is donating $1 milion (about R16.5 million) to black-owned businesses in celebration of her birthday.

The ‘Black Is King’ star turned 39 on Friday, and as an early birthday gift from the singer, she announced this week she plans to give the hefty sum to the National Association for the Advancement of Coloured People (NAACP), to help support small black-owned businesses.

Beyoncé made the donation through her BeyGOOD charity initiative, and announced the news in a statement on her website, which read: ”Proud to announce $1M in additional funds from Beyonce to help black-owned small businesses. Round two of funding opens this month with our partner, NAACP.”

NAACP also released their own statement, in which they said they are ”proud to partner” with BeyGOOD, and revealed that the $1 million donation would split into grants of $10 000 each.They said: ”NAACP Empowerment Programs is delighted to administer a meaningful program in partnership with BeyGOOD’s Black-Owned Small Business Impact Fund to assist our small business communities that have been directly impacted by recent events across the country. The grants in the amount of $10,000 will be offered to Black-owned small businesses in select cities to help sustain businesses during this time. The NAACP is proud to partner with BeyGOOD to help strengthen small businesses and to ensure economic empowerment for Black businesses.”Beyonce’s latest charitable deed comes after she recently reached out to fellow pop star Katy Perry, following the birth of her daughter Daisy Dove.

The ‘Halo’ hitmaker sent Katy – who has her daughter with her fiancé Orlando Bloom – a $250 bouquet of flowers to celebrate her first foray into motherhood.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, Katy shared a snap of the bouquet and wrote: ”Ily [I love you] @beyonce”

She also snapped the gift card, which read: ”Congratulations to the new addition to your family! Beyonce.”

Being the reasonable guy that he is, Vuyo did however escalate the matter to Renate, whom respectfully declined the offer, due to being at full capacity with her love life.

It’s been almost a year since the departure of the Mabuza’s and we still haven’t gotten over them. And replacing the Mabuza’s with the Sebata’s has made us realise how absolutely brilliant the trio was; TGOM played by Rami Chuene, Goodness played by Zenande Mfenyane and Mabatho played by Setumo Motsoaledi. The trio had unmatched chemistry, a hilarious storyline and was relatable to the audience.

We’ve gotten used to actors coming and going on The Queen and have not made peace with most of the characters being killed off because they were genuinely talented actors that delivered. Nevertheless, the introduction of the Sebata’s has made us believe that sometimes talented actors can be really awkward and have an awful connection. They might just be an odd bunch together, have language issues, or be given a terrible script that can’t be saved.

Here are 3 reasons why the Mabuza’s were better than the Sebata’s :

The Language

Okay, so I know South Africa has eleven official languages and I’ve seen how a Sepedi actress could have a Xhosa daughter and a Tswana niece; like Gracious TGOM Mabuza was Pedi speaking, Goodness was Xhosa and Mabatho was Tswana. They made it work because Gracious married a Xhosa man and Goodness took Sesotho/Sepedi lessons and improved throughout the show. Even before Goodness took those lessons, the mother and daughter had an incredible connection, laughed at each other and never messed up their lines.

It never felt awkward or forced like the Sebata’s. Hector Sebata played by Rapulana Seiphemo is Tswana, his daughter; Thando Sebata played by Jessica Nkosi is Zulu and his youngest daughter; Mpho Sebata played by Ntando Duma is also Zulu. As talented as the trio is, they just don’t vibe together, they are arduous and so rigid you could cut the tension with a knife. Seldom when their father speaks, you could tell by the daughter’s odd facial expression that they have no idea what he’s talking about. They’re supposed to make us believe they’ve known each other for years but it’s like they just met on set and have a gun to their heads to make it work.

So, we already know that Tumi(Larona Moagi) has had a change of heart about her husband because they’ve both changed. Lindani’s (Lunga Shabalala) mindset is still in the ghetto, while Tumi’s is already in Paris. She wants to explore, travel, and make money while Lindani wants to live in an RDP house and have babies.

She doesn’t want to have babies with him and lied to him about taking contraceptives. When Lindani found them, Tumi took off and went to Refilwe township to get her mind off her husband. She bumped into Mabutho(her husband’s cousin)and had a one night stand with him.

Although we’ve been anticipating these two hooking up from their first kiss a while back, we didn’t think that Tumi would be dense enough to forget to take contraceptives after her night with Mabutho (Thembinkosi Mthembu).

Tumi only married Lindani out of guilt, the old Tumi had feelings for him and Lindani is a traditionalist, when he popped the question, she had no choice but to say yes. Had Tumi been raised by Lindiwe, she wouldn’t have dated Lindani or even married him.

She is her mother’s daughter and always follows her heart no matter whose feelings are on the line. Mabutho is exactly like Tumi. He expressed his feelings for Tumi in the past even though he and Lindani are family. He doesn’t feel an ounce of guilt for betraying Lindani, because he’s selfish, greedy, and egotistical.

Mabutho will unleash Tumi’s dark side, and she will start embracing her true identity. Her affair will affect her relationship with her sister-in-law; Paulina, who is protective over Lindani and Mabutho. Tumi will struggle to face the consequences of her actions as would anyone who cheats on their husband (with their relative).
