It is confirmed the hip-hop world can breathe after Nasty C and Big Sean confirm that they will release a collaborative single together.

Nasty C and Big Sean went on Twitter to confirm that much anticipated single between the two of them following their individual releases that did not have a single featuring each other on their albums. Nasty C released the biggest release of the year, or of the month of August with the release of his new album, “Zulu Man With Some Power.”

Ahead of the release one of the features that were rumored would be part of the album was a feature with Big Sean. But when the album was released, fans of the both leading hip-hop artists were disappointed to find that the feature with Big Sean did not make the cut. Listeners to the album listened to songs like “Zone” featuring Tellaman, “Feeling” and “Overpriced Steak” claiming that the songs would be even bigger if Nasty C had featured the rapper on them.

This past Friday, 4 September 2020, Big Sean released his own much anticipated album, “Detroit 2.” Like with Nasty C’s release, many fans were disappointed to find out that Big Sean had not featured Nasty C on any of the tracks on the album. This is despite Big Sean releasing the track list of the album before the release confirming that Nasty C was not part of the album.

With no word from either camps about what happened to the collaboration that was wanted by fans of the hip-hop artists, many speculated that there was drama between two behind the scenes. Nasty C had not address the matter on social media following his release, despite some tweeps asking about the matter on issue in his mentions. It took the release of Big Sean’s album for the matter to be finally addressed.

A tweep took to the Sean Don’s timeline to ask when can fans expect a collaboration between them. The post was accompanied with a throwback image of the two together in studio. Big Sean not only confirmed that they were still on speaking terms by referring to Nasty C as his “dawg,” but confirmed that they had worked on the song but never finished it by adding, “We need to finish something.”The “Zulu Man” replied to the post by confirming the collaboration with emojis. He went on to add that, “That D2 is something special big homie.” Now fans of the artists just need to wait for a remix or a new single from either camp to hear what a Nasty C and Big Sean collaboration sounds like

The issue started when a tweep that wanted to her chances took to the Twitter and asked if rumors that the one half of popular amapiano, Scorpion Kings, has an affinity for pretty girls. Baby girl used the term, “iyfebe,” which was a term that had sent Mihlali over, just last week. Confused? Here is a quick catch up session.

The creator of now popular term, “tsi,” had posted a vlog playing a drinking game called “Spill or Sip.” The vlog featured friend and fellow influencer, Tebogo Leburu. During the vlog Mihlali let us know that she is “mingling,” meaning that home girl has a few situation-ships. Although she did make it clear that there was only one that she was currently tlof-tlof’ing, that she was open to dates and casual meet ups.

Her story drew criticism from men, with an unnamed follower claiming that she is promoting promiscuity or “bofebe.” Mihlali than addressed the matter in a series of heated Instagram stories. The rant on the app gave birth to one of the star’s most iconic phrases of this year, which was, “This is not your mother’s house!” Moreover, the rant positioned Mihlali as one of the popular media personalities that advocate for gender equity and women’s right to have autonomy over their own bodies.

But then Mihlali seems to have contradicted herself or just simply shady when she commented on Kabza De Small’s bedroom matters. Mihlali addressed the matter of whether Kabza De Small has an affinity for “iy’febe” by writing that, “He’s a DJ love.” For emphasis, Mihlali went on to add a skull emoji, basically saying enter with caution if the tweep ever wanted a chance to be with him.
Comments on the post concurred that Mihlali was being a bit shady. There were some comments that suggested that Kabza had dated one of the “Have Faith” reality co-stars between Faith Nketsi or Kim Kholiwe. The suggestion would explain Faith Nketsi brief hip-hop career which was backed by DJ Maphorisa’s record label, BlaqBoy Music. Moreover, with little-to-nothing is known about Kabza’s love life, who knows if Mihlali is speaking from experience.
Mihlali is clearly not about men on her timeline. The star commented on another post from a male tweep that attempted to celebrate not being a perpetrator of gender-based-violence. Sis’ let it be known that it was nothing to celebrate, because the “bar is so low.”

The BET’s “Boity Own Your Throne” co-star and one of the most popular mothers to a celebrity actually celebrated her birthday this past week. On her actual birthday, Boity that has always raved about her relationship with her mother had taken to social media to shower her mother with love by writing:

“Happy birthday to my Queen! September has always been my harvest season and it’s deeply rooted in it being my mom’s birth month! Thank you for teaching me courage, independence, hard work, love, patience and perseverance. Most importantly, thank you for leading me by example. But it turns out that “Mod” did not receive birthday wishes from her most cherished ones on her actual birthday. In Boity’s live stories sharing details of the birthday celebration, a surprised Modiehi first drags her family and friends for not wishing her a happy birthday on her auspicious day, believing that they do not care about. But it turns out that they were just waiting for the surprise party to shower her with love.
On Twitter, Boity shared how her mother managed to drag her during the birthday celebration. Boity retells the story of how mother frowned about how much she dishing up for herself. Boity claims that her mother that is used to dragging her on their reality show said that she was dishing up as if she was at a funeral, and eating like she was ravenous as if she was attending the funeral all day.
The birthday celebration has put Boity in a good mood. The personality later took to Twitter to share how much she is at peace, despite everything. Boity let us know that her focus is her family and making sure that they are taken care off. The country is mourning the brutal murder and untimely passing of a young and talented woman yet again, at the hands of gender-based violence, the news was first broken by Phil Mphela. According to a statement by the Mdeliswa family, the 34-year-old Thandeka Mdeliswa, who was popularly known for her role on local television drama iKani, was shot on Thursday the 3rd of September. She was immediately rushed to Evander Hospital in Mpumalanga, where she was stabilized and then airlifted to Witbank, after which she was transferred to Steve Biko Academic Hospital, in a stable but critical condition.

After a long and painful fight, she passed on in the morning of Saturday, the 5th of September. Condolences and shock about her brutal murder have been pouring in since early this morning.

Prince Kaybee invited some of the media, including ZAlebs, to showcase the plans he has for the ambitious undertaking he has embarked on called “Project Hope.”

The project started taking form when the acclaimed and award-winning producer and DJ took to social media to canvass for ten aspiring female musicians to work with him on album called, “Project Hope.” Prince Kaybee would produce the album and the aspiring musicians would get a chance to finally realize part of their dreams by finally stepping into a studio.

The ten aspiring musicians chosen by Prince Kaybee included Thembisile Q, Thalitha, Bridgette Vocalist, Thobile Ngidi, Katz the Singr, Ruby Rose, LaNeo, Sanda, Basetsana and Nosipho Sibisi. The musicians come from all walks of life and different parts of the country to produce a hit album titled, “Project Hope.”

Speaking to Sanda, one of the ten lucky musicians on the experience of working on the project she explains that despite it being a tiring experience. She adds that “We are learning so much. I see this is an opportunity to learn. I see it as an opportunity to have a foundation, in order to use this as a stepping stone and a way to open doors for myself.”

Another winner we got opportunity to speak to was Nosipho Sisibi provided some details about working in close proximity with Prince Kaybee. Nosipho complimented the humility of Prince Kaybee, which is contrary to popular discourse. Nosipho echoed the best advice that other contestants received from Prince Kaybee which was, “Be yourself.”

On Friday, 4 September 2020, Prince Kaybee wrapped up the production element of the shooting and recording of “Project Hope.” Besides the album, the live session teasing the tracks from the upcoming album revealed that the project will also have a reality show element to it that will introduce use to all the winners and the creative process of making “Project Hope.”
But it seems that the DJ has bigger aspirations for “Project Hope.” Previously he had teased that he is planning a festival that would incorporate his love for, “music, cars, beautiful people and good food.’ During his sit down with members of the media he confirmed the plans, explaining that “Project Hope is a progressive idea. Each and every day I get new ideas; whether the ladies will go on tour…” Prince Kaybee confirmed that the rest of the year will be focused in seeing “Project Hope” comes into fruition. Especially considering the jams that are produced and shared off the upcoming album.
