Earlier this year, Supa Mega launched his app which gave subscribers exclusive content produced by the rapper, video previews, behind the scene footage and shows hosted by AKA himself.

In order to gain all this great content subscribers were charged R49 per month, but it seems they have not received their monies worth as there hasn’t been any new content loaded in a minute and fans are beginning to complain.

Well, their complaints have not gone unnoticed and AKA took to Twitter to acknowledge their complaints and apologised as he gave an explanation as to why.

“Apologies with the delay of new content on the #AKATV app. I’m busy moving some things around in terms of the business model and on the technical side for a better all-round experience,” shared the rapper.Apologies with the delay of new content on the #AKATV app. I’m busy moving some things around in terms of the business model and on the technical side for a better all round experience. In the meantime there will be no amount coming off your account. Thanks. The rapper also assured his fans that while he moves things around his subscribers can rest assured that no amount of money will be coming off their accounts.

“In the meantime, there will be no amount coming off your account. Thanks,” he tweeted.

AKA had previously announced that he was working on an upgrade on the app that would offer free content for those who might not be able to afford or are willing to pay for the app’s full subscription.

In June, AKA tweeted, “Ultimately when we launch our new upgrade of the app coming soon, this content will be FREE for those who want to watch #AKATV but might not be able (or not willing) to pay for the FULL subscription. #AKATV”.
So far AKA has been able to deliver content such as the Braai Show which had guests such as Fikile Mbalula on it. He also debuted the exclusive performance of such as the AKA Orchestra on the Square.

Not everyone is a fan of AKA’s venture, Cassper Nyovest shared his opinion about the show after a tweep commented on the post telling Mufasa that social media is busy on AKA TV. Cassper did not waste time replying to the troll labelling AKA TV as “filth” that he doesn’t want taking up space on his timeline.

Supa Mega’s fans can expect the rapper to drop his album soon as he shared that that the project is 100% finished as all verses have been recorded, all separates and arrangements have been done and all that’s left is the mixing process.
