“Reflect on their lives and certain choices they’ve made. I see people not even trying to make peace with their own spirits. If there’s one thing that I’ve come to learn during this pandemic, is that it’s time to make peace with ourselves and our God,” she wrote.

She continued saying the only thing she is willing to fight for is to keep herself and her family alive.

“I’m done fighting. The only thing I am willing to fight for is to keep myself and my family alive. If you are at war with me, I will pray for you. If you’re digging a grave for me, I will forgive you. The only thing I ask is that if I’ve done you wrong in any way, please forgive me.

“If I’ve hurt you, please forgive me. I may be a spiritual being, but I am still human and therefore I am not without sin. I may have built a name for myself but I am not above you,” said Makhene.

She ended the thread saying that she isn’t sick or dying, but just reflecting.

“I pray that we all find our peace before it’s too late. P. S I’m not sick or dying. This is just me reflecting and sharing. I love you. God bless you. Thokozani,” she said.

Makhene’s fans shared her sentiments and commented with encouraging words.

Boity stands by ‘unemployed roaches’ comment: ‘If you didn’t insult me, it wasn’t for you’

Boity Thulo explains why she called men ‘roaches’.

Media personality Boity won’t back down from calling trolls “unemployed roaches”, explaining again this week that she was clapping back at men who were bothering her.

Sometimes we all snap when the haters keep sending hate our way and queen Boity talked to us about a moment she had on Twitter a few days ago.

Last week, influencer Mihlali Ndamase took to our TL’s when a tweep slut-shamed the star. After lambasting the troll, other celebrities joined in the discussion including Boity.

The TV personality replied to a tweep saying that TL debates are full of people who don’t actually care about the safety of women, saying “don’t let the roaches bring you down to their level”.

Her comments caused outrage online and once the dust had settled, Boity took to Twitter to explain that she was being trolled by men and had lashed out at the hateful comments.

She said the “roaches” insult was aimed at the trolling men who were clogging her mentions and DMs.

“A few days ago, I was being trolled by a number of men on this app throughout the day. These men insulted me in every way possible. I too responded with insults and proceeded to call those men unemployed roaches.

“If you didn’t insult me that day, the insult was not meant for you,” Boity told her followers. The star is vocal about gender-based violence plaguing SA and in June wrote a strongly-worded letter to SA men.

“Dear men. All men. You do not own our bodies. You are not superior beings. We do not owe you our lives. We do not come from your f***ing rib. No means no! Stop killing us! Regards, Basadi.”

List of SA celebrities and their own Celeb crushes

After seeing a 2-minute video of DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small dancing to their song Bella Ciao, Busiswa commented on Kabza, who was in the passenger seat drinking his milk, calling him her crush.

“Crush yam izithe minciza ngoBisi pha kwi passenger seat, aka yaz ba nam ndine dairy [My crush is drinking his milk seated in the passenger’s seat, little does he know that I also have dairy],” she wrote on Twitter. Some of the Twitter responses to Busiwa’s offer were quite hilarious, with Abulele Fono writing: “Natural 100% Organic Dairy mnts’khaya!!!Yena he must stop playing with engineered milk and get the real deal”, and Maphobela saying: “Haibo. Kabza is too children for you. Yekel’ mtwana”.Celeb-on-celeb crushes are not uncommon in SA or other parts of the world for that matter.

Ok Mzansi once published a list of SA celebs and their own celeb crushes. Here are five of the featured celebs and their crushes:

AKA’s super crush is Nigeria’s Tiwa Savage
Cassper Nyovest’s crush is Minnie Dlamini. The rapper has opened up about it on social media.
Rapper Reason’s crush has always been Thembi Seete
Vuyo Dabula’s crush is Pearl Thusi. Have you seen his IG posts about Pearl?!
The one and only time Brian Themba revealed his crush, it was Pabi Moloi.
Just goes to show that when it comes to what the heart desires, even celebs get a little weak in the knees.
