Pearl Modiadie To Host Reality Show ‘It Takes A Village, with Pearl Modiadie’ will debut in September

Media personality Pearl Modiadie has announced that the new season of the popular reality show It Takes A Village will premier in September. The show which tackles Mzansi’s social ills has returned for the third season and this time it features the radio presenter.

It Takes A Village, with Pearl Modiadie will air on SABC 1, September 30 and will give viewers an insight on the radio presenter’s upbringing. Pearl hails all the way from a village in Tembisa so the show will be centered around that.

Not divulging too much about the show, Pearl simply shared on social media that the show will be very personal as the star will be leaving ‘no stone unturned.’

The reality show is seeking to help young people deal with their family dynamics and help make them stronger.

The previous seasons saw DJ Zinhle as a committed social activist set on her quest to change young women’s lives for the better, starting with the women in her hometown Dannhauser, KwaZulu-Natal.

Commenting on the crux of the reality show at the time, the channels acting program manager Sane Zondi said, “We are excited to bring this new offering to our viewers, at a time when we all reflect on the year that has been and seek to make better choices for the year ahead. The show is made with the spirit and intention of empowering the human spirit to elevate above its circumstances and to strive for more. So, it is not just a beautifully crafted television format, but will also represent the beginning of a socially-relevant movement.”

The second season was presented by former Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates star Teko Modise. He took viewers to Soweto where his upbringing took place as a child with little to no ambition, to becoming one of the country’s top footballers.

This show comes at a time when the young talented woman is expecting her first born child. 

She has decided to keep her pregnancy guarded whilst throwing jabs here and there to critics. The only update her followers got about her pregnancy are that her bundle of joy is growing pretty well. Image

Over the weekend Bonang headed out with her cousin Pinky Girl to what looks like a private event and mo’ghel was a showstopper. The TV star donned a bum short, with a red crop-top and a kaftan.

Bonang’s look received a lot of compliments from her fans who reckoned that she is the girl she thinks she is. Her energy on the pictures is unmatched and she definitely had a blast.

Bonang is no stranger to serving some sauce with her looks. TV star recently left many melting when she took over Sun City. The TV star was hosting the annual cultural and lifestyle Nubian Music Festival on August 29.

The festival was held to commemorate women. Bonang posted a series a snaps on social media giving her fans a glimpse into her whirlwind experience.

They recently visited Mpumalanga with her cousin Pinky Girl and they went on a safari in the Kurger National Park. The two served some content to die-for and we loved it.

Bonang has also been rocking new hairstyles lately and they are goals! The TV star inspires many with her style and she once admitted to owning over 200 pairs of shoes.

“I spend my money on shoes. Have you seen my Instagram? I’m so bad. I’m terrible. I don’t know how many pairs of shoes I have. Maybe 200, 300,” she said on Six Zeros to My Name.
Her style has style has been awarded before and she bagged a SA Style Award in 2015 proving that she is a fashion icon! Bonang does not mind spending her hard earned cash on looking good and she does not disappoint.

Sophie Lichaba Says It Pained Her To See Chadwick Boseman Ridiculed.

The “Black Panther” star who passed away after a four year battle with colon cancer, was recently ridiculed after posting a video commemorating Jackie Robinson’s Day.

In the video clip that was posted on his Instagram page, slim-looking Boseman was seen hailing his hero Robinson.

While some expressed their concern for the star’s drastic weight loss, many mocked him.
Sophie says she can relate to Boseman’s pain of being ridiculed.

The former “Generations” actress has been a victim of a Twitter death and being mocked for her weight loss.

Lichaba, who lost her parents to diabetes, said she was an ambassador for people living with diabetes.
