Pearl Thusi’s daughter, Thando Mokoena turns 13

Pearl Thusi is one parent who always try hard to spend time with her children. Each year, she makes sure she celebrate their birthday in a way they would appreciate. In her post, she still can’t believe her daughter, Thando turns 13 as she plans on celebrating her last day being 12 but time passed by without Thusi getting to know. Pearl is very happy to be witnessing the day with her daughter as she stated she is so proud of the lady she is becoming.Taking to Instagram, the actress shared a beautiful snap of her daughter looking all-natural and beautiful. Pearl also penned down a sweet message to her daughter on social media, saying:

Today has been emotional for me…Happy birthday my @thando__mokoena. My hitta is a teenager… wow. I tried to celebrate your last day as a 12-year-old. You’re actually a 13-year-old now… this is crazy. Where did the time go? I have so much to say … about how proud I am of you, your loving nature, your big heart, you’re the better version of me… and you’re becoming better and better everyday… I love you so much.”Thank you for being my biggest fan- I know my turn is coming soon as your own star is rising higher and higher. South African celeb mom Pearl Thusi has had a lot to celebrate lately (with her successful lead role in the hit Nefltflix show Queen Sono and her announcement as a Mac ambassador) and the event of her daughter Okuhle’s fifth birthday is the latest of these. The actress took to social media to and said to her daughter, ” You came into our lives  and added so much joy and love… time passes so quickly and I can’t believe you’ve five years old already.” The celebs friends also joined the mom in celebrating her daughter with Thusi’s best friend DJ Zinhle adding, “Happy birthday to my sweet baby girl  Okuhle. “I’m a mother to four-and-a-half-year-old Okuhlekonke and I have to wait for her to grow up and decide how she wants this story to be told.

“As much as I feel I’m a big part of this story, Thando is also a bigger part of this story in terms of the narrative right now. As much as I would like to say this is what happened and that happened, I have to protect so many people.

“in 15 years time if Okuhlekonke decides to tell you guys what happened and what’s happening, then that’s her choice to make.”

Pearl said Okuhlekonke has added a greater dynamic to the family.

“So, I feel like right now all that I can admit to is being her mother, and that I’m very proud of that, and that she’s a very sweet, kind and loving child.

This is coming after President Cyril Ramaphosa announced few weeks back that the Covid-19 lockdown is now on level 2.

But many South African celebrities were not happy as they demanded that lockdown regulations around concerts be amended.

The hitmaker posted that he “smells” that the much more relaxed Level 1 is coming soon.

DJ Tira cannot wait for Mzansi to move to Level 1 of the Covid-19 lockdown.

The musician has taken to social media to share with his fans that he thinks the country will move to Level 1 soon.

He said: “I smell Level 1 coming soon.”

Television personality, Somizi Mhlongo celebrates late mom’s birthday today as he shares video and heartfelt message.The star had to share the video on his Instagram to show how much he loved and misses his mother.

The legendary actress, Mary Twala was born on 14 September 1939, and she would have turned 80 years today.

Mam Mary Twala was a renowned actress whose work is still being celebrated by many even across the world.

The actress’s acting career spanned six decades and her last project was on Beyonce’s Black Is King.

According to Somizi’s post, he shared the last moments his mom had in the hospital with her friend, Lilian In the video the duo is heard planning a little celebration on the 20th and deciding on what outfits they were going to wear.

In Mary Twala’s word, she said: “Don’t tell me it’s a surprise baby. We are going to be toodoo.”

Somizi captioned his post: “Someone is Cutting onions.How can I not choke up watching this.Happy 80th Ma.On this day my mom was in a semi coma until mam Lillian walked in and she was in this state…..I’ll tell u one day whT happened and how, very hilarious.”
