A few months ago, the musician has dedicated his time and taken advantage of his platform to educate and spread awareness on social issues that affect South Africans. Despite L’vovo’s efforts at shining the light on these issues, he was labelled xenophobic, however clarified that he is not, but he cares more for his country.

“We love our neighbors. We are true Africans! But let’s fix local issues first n eradicate unemployment then we can help our brothers! If you are in a boat with people who can’t swim, u 1st save yourself & then go rescue others! This is pure logic! SA 1st that’s where I stand!”

This time, he is slamming the government and those politicians who are very silent on human trafficking.

“Good morning South Africa. Time for action has arrived, tweets are great but we need to start acting. All our problems can be fixed if we just unite and tackle them together. We are all we got, not politicians will save u, no pastor or anyone besides US! WE WILL WIN!!!

“How do all these trafficked people leave the country? No passports or Visas. Do u realize that we are dealing with a much more organized syndicate than we thought?” he questioned.Yesterday L’vovo wrote a daring Tweet which read, “We cant sugarcoat the truth. MOST Nigerians in this country are heavily involved in criminal activities! That’s a fact! I’m not Xenophobic. But one day u will realize this, by then it will be too late!

“Every Nation that wants a safe heaven for crime: Destination South Africa. Europeans, Chinese, Somalians, Nigerians etc all have businesses n are richer than locals! This does not make any sense to me! Until we prioritize locals, this country is headed downhill,” he wrote.

Lerato Kganyago engaged in the human trafficking discussion saying women should protect each other at all costs and be wary of famous celebrities who are capable of spiking their drinks when on a girls night out.
She also expressed her deep concerns as South Africa is on, according to her, the “Tier 2 Watch list” for human trafficking. She has also slammed the government for not doing anything to protect children who are trafficked daily.

“South Africa is considered to be on the “Tier 2 Watchlist” for human trafficking. At least A MILLION kids are trafficked each year. Our government is not doing enough…Believe it or not South Africa has officially become a source country for Human Trafficking and it’s getting worse!” she said expressing concern.

“Every hour a child or woman goes missing! Some are lucky to escape, most never make it! HUMAN TRAFFICKING IS REAL! Thousands of women went missing during the lockdown, MOST have not been found yet,” she wrote

Moonchild: My Music Is Always About Liberation “I’m super proud that things are going according to my plans.”

known of her extremely raunchy lyrics and performances which oozes sexual-liberation. The star says her EP is about liberation.

“The reason I used the title Nudes is because a lot of the times nudes are used against us and the whole EP is about sexual titles that are about ownership of owning it whether you are demanding sex or talking about your love fall or you are not going to tolerate bullsh*t while you are a lover of sex so it is to literally to liberate and say that we never wanted to be something that takes away our power in moment of fun and happiness we were doing it’

Nudes is a record of self empowerment. Her EP features her controversial song Bashiri, which has got tongues wagging, the playfully written song is about a woman who takes her cheating husband to a pastor to rid him of the ‘evil spirits’ that are causing his behavior. The ridiculousness of this concept led her to suggest changing the narrative of finding solutions outside of yourself. Only you have the power to make you happy.

The musician says her music is always about liberation because she has been a victim of sexual violation, hence she feels she has the power to use her platform to send a message to the masses and liberate others.

“My music is always about liberation, so releasing it now is literally because we can but regards to the music I make it makes sexual liberation content because it is something that is very close to my heart and something that I can never be tired of because, I’ve been sexually violated and instead of crying about it i chose to use my platform as a way to liberate others.”
